I am looking for good single coil RBTA to replace my trusty Protank 2. If i can source it locally, it would be a bonus. Any recommendations?

Interested to hear suggestions here myself, some dual coil setups make it very difficult to do a single coil. Griffin and aromamizer worked out well for me in the dual coil category.

How about the Serpent mini? Single coil and small, reviews looks promising too.

or the Kayfun mini v3? Wanted to suggest this first but I've no idea where to source this locally (Authentic or clone)

Big had tfv4 mini kit with RBA that comes with insert for Overohm coils. He also had the Serpent as Yong suggested. You'd have to check with him on current stock.

Just got a Bachelor Nano, with a Serpent Mini in transit. Up til now, only coiled a subtank RBA. The Nano has a separate kit with inserts to reduce the airflow for MTL. Don't know who stocks it though. Since I like an airy MTL, I'll see how it works out of the box. Both get good reviews, and of course they have big brothers if size is important, rather than how you use it.

I started with the sub tank rba base when I was using single coil only. After I went cloud chasing I bought my Crius. Now I only use my Crius and a Griffin clone. Both dual coil easy to wick and built one when you got some experience.. both around .25r with 10 wraps with nichrome. Huge clouds. But the Griffin can handle more watts so bigger clouds with that one. Nichrome gives you more wraps then kanthal. I like the taste better as well, I don't vape kanthal at all anymore.

The tfv4 is not I tank I would go for. Different rba bases have to be bought separately and the RCA that are included sucks.

Just saying that dual decks is so much better then a single coil deck 555
    **Updated**
    Then go dual coils :) A singel coil 0.5ohms *2 =0.25ohms

I'm gonna give the Crown a vote. Awesome tank. Single coil do-it-yourself or some very nice 0.25 pre-made coils...

My vote would have to go for the Serpent although the reviews say its a big DTL tank with massive airflow, it can also be tamed for sub 15w builds. build quality is excellent and its top fill and has air and liquid control.

What do you think about the Kanger Topbox Mini Starter Kit?

I have this and I prefer the uwell crown rba to toptank mini rba.

But toptank is a good practice tank to learn wicking. :)
