Pure nickel ni200 question

Hi guys,
Recently I purchase a pure nickel ni200 28g from ft, I try to rebuilt my Lemo n did the dry burn cotton test on it.. Set at 410f n 22.8w built is @ 0.24ohm.. Instantly the cotton caught fire. The temperature control doesn't work!! But when I use the occ nickel coil the Dna40 works like a gem, kicks in when temp hits the setting n when coil is dry. Anyone knows wats the issue here? I m really quite lost.
Nevertheless I build it n fill the Lemo with juice and it does vape well but I know that the temperature control doesn't work even in temp mode. Advice needed here. TIA guys.

 

how much gauge u tried?

 

28g 14wraps turn to be 0.2 ohm

 

Could be bad electrical conductivity of the Lemo leading to inaccurate readings and applied power to the coil. Comparing with other atty's, based on my own experience, user reports in other forums and the video review (via our forum in the link below), it's not the most reliable conductivity-wise...that can make temp control a pain.

Process of elimination. Atty, wire, build.

• Try a different atty and a build with less wraps.
• What build did you do. Spaced or contact?

I use the Lemo Drop. Can't say I have any issues with it in temp mode.

Yeah... It works flawlessly with occ nickel coils. The temp limiting is working.. No doubt about that.. Just wondering how that happen to my built.. Will try to find out more by testing different Temp later.
