1. Welcome to Thailand Vapers, an English language forum for members in Thailand and the rest of Asia to talk about vaping.
Commonly referred to as e-cigarettes, vaping is really about the use of personal vaporizers (mods) and atomizers (tanks, clearos, RBAs, RDAs, RTAs) filled with e-liquid.

Kinda a question which is googled, asked and thought about a lot.

Things have changed a lot over the last few years with the state of vaping in Thailand, lots of stuff has been reported on this on Thailand Vapers Forum, but below are a few links to what the members of Thailand Vapers around the country of Thailand have posted about.

**UPDATED** - Public Vaping in Thailand Is NOT Legal (Fined for Possessing Vape Gear) | Thailand Vapers

Proposed Thai Laws for Vaping in Thailand | Thailand Vapers

Vaping in such big cities and places such as Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket you could find yourself in a bit of bother.
Best advice if you are and wanting to vape in Thailand is do it privately, away from the eyes of others...

I've seen a few Thai vapers out and about - mostly not in the city (around Town in Town, one or two around Bangphli/Bangna) - but I remember maybe ten years ago the risks of smoking were high... there'd be a small tent with a few pigs watching out to catch money from anyone discarding a butt or something.

But sure, officially it's only acceptable to buy Monopoly analogues, though you shouldn't use them anywhere near people either.

I think it's interesting how so many still think it's illegal, there's a lot of misinformation going on. Yes, police will try to bully you to pay an on-the-spot fine, but there's no legislation to back up the claim that personal use or possession is illegal.
