1. Welcome to Thailand Vapers, an English language forum for members in Thailand and the rest of Asia to talk about vaping.
Commonly referred to as e-cigarettes, vaping is really about the use of personal vaporizers (mods) and atomizers (tanks, clearos, RBAs, RDAs, RTAs) filled with e-liquid.

I've been using my kayfuns for about a month now and with the addition of my hana clone, they are better than ever and flawless.

I've been on the market for an rda, but I'm now second guessing myself as to if I even need one. Will I be seeing much if a difference from my kayfuns?

The biggest reason is that I mostly Vape when I'm at work or out for a night, I can't see myself spending the time to drip every few puffs.

    Change my opinion?

RDA's are very popular and it's apparently mostly all about extra flavour. Me, I'm too lazy to bother. I have actually been using my kayfun to try juices lately. Throw a quick wick in with a few drops and only screw the chimney on. Don't look pretty but it works.

I'm dripping right now. For me, I use my Kayfuns all day long, and my drippers at the end of the day, after a meal or something, sitting at my desk. Fuller vape, more flavor, more satisfying. I like mine around .3 ohms, dual coil, and I use 6mg juice (as opposed to 18mg in my Kayfuns).

i would say you dont miss a thing,
for me vaping matters seems to happen in funny timeframes, some weeks back i didnt touch any tanks and did only RDAs, since a couple of days i dont touch RDAs at all and only doing the taifun with the Hana Box,

i liked the stronger intense taste on the RDAs, but with the current Taifun Setup + the Hana i cant say that any RDA s would be better, so imho you dont miss out a thing, cause youre current vaping fits you live style perfectly

I actually prefer dripping over using a Kayfun, even while out and about. As Ryan stated, it's a more satisfying vape. For me this is especially true because I prefer wide open airholes, and sometimes I find the Kayfun to be less than satisfying due to it's restricted airflow. I don't find dripping to be very inconvenient at all, except for having to carry a bottle around. If you wick your coils well, you can just remove the drip tip, drip 5-10 drops, re-insert drip tip and you're good to go. You don't need to remove the entire top cap and carefully soak the wicks. But this can depend on the RDA - for example, the Magma tends to leak if you drip thru the drip tip hole because of the placement of the inner air holes.

As for flavour, I think it can vary depending on what dripper you choose. And the Kayfun also has really good flavour IMO. I've found that I can taste different "notes" in my juices depending on whether I'm using a dripper or a Kayfun.

Which RDA would you advise for easy dripping through the drip tip hole, without leaking?

Besides the Magma, I've only used the Trident v2 clone. It's been great. The flavour beats my magma and kayfun. Easy to drip through the drip tip hole and plenty of airhole settings. I think most RDAs would be fine for dripping this way. Only (minor) problem I have with the trident is that sometimes I get eliquid in my mouth from the drip tip - it might be because it's a small RDA. I do like that it's air holes are a bit high from the deck - I never get leaks from there.

I would say the Storm-A or the Origen, they both have large drip wells and the air holes are high enough that you shouldn't have many problems with leaking. Honestly though, I don't have much issues with leaking on my Magma, unless I overfill. The juice seems to just run down the posts and into the wells.

You don't have to limit yourself to those however. I love my Trident v2 for the big airholes, my Stillaire for ease of use, Magma for flavor, my Storm-A's for versatility, etc. With my next FastTech order I'll be picking up a few more, probably the TOBH and Quasar, and I may pick up the Brass Monkey from Big next time I'm down there. Whatever you get, you'll soon learn what works best for that particular atty.

For me, as much as I love them, they're still kind of a part-time thing for me. I don't think they'll go past that until I get a regulated mod that can really make use of them, something that will do at LEAST 60 watts.

For a dripper, I would throw out the 3D (or the clone, which is less than $15). It is a dripper with the added benefit of having a built in juice tank so you don't have to constantly wick the dripper. Really a dripper has a better flavor than a tank, even the Kayfun. The 3d is my favorite atomizer period. It truly tastes like a dripper, plus it lasts a long time like a tank.

But does dripper means at least DNA 30 ? Cause for me, trying a dripper: why not? But if I have to buy new mod in addition... Not sure!

I think one of your mechanical mods would work just fine.

Nah you'll be fine with your mechs. I was able to coax some sweet clouds and vape with a vision spinner + dripper for months before I got my hana clone.

Good! Then, the Stillaire clone is on the way to me, got it as free offer option from my usual French E-cig store... Good opportunity for a first try!

From what I've read, a lot of people seem to really like the Stillaire - probably a great choice. Let us know how it works out for you.
