1. Welcome to Thailand Vapers, an English language forum for members in Thailand and the rest of Asia to talk about vaping.
    Commonly referred to as e-cigarettes, vaping is really about the use of personal vaporizers (mods) and atomizers (tanks, clearos, RBAs, RDAs, RTAs) filled with e-liquid.
    Are you looking to get started or an old hand at vaping? Everyone is welcome here so sign up today and talk vaping with us!

    Hi everyone.
    Just wanted to say thanks for this excellent forum.
    I'd been off the stinkies for 6 or so months (after 20 yeays) using cig-alikes bought in from the UK by a friend.
    Finding this site, I've now upgraded to some decent kit (Thanks to BIG and Tienga and vVv and others who shall not be named) ... and ALL temptation to revert back to those stinky days is fully and absolutely gone.
    I hope I can also contribute to help others
    Thanks again and keep it up
    Jimmy G

    Thanks Jimmy Jimmy.
    And yes, you are right. If you take the time to read all of the informative posts and sift through the BS and subjectivity, there is a wealth of knowledge to be learned on this forum.

    But as you say, the main thing is that you are off the stinkies and (paraphrasing here) are now addicted to vaping.

    @Tibo

    So.. I have three individual sets... I'll cover from least favorite to best

    1. Evod A - rationale was a carry in the pocket vape - discreet enough to take a few cheeky puffs when out and about feeling desperate. Not great but scratches the itch when I'm gagging
    2. EGO II twist - rationale was to have something semi transportable. It's better than the Evod and has a pretty good tank but doesn't sub ohm and the flavors simply don't come through. Still a nice once in a while puff
    3. MVP3 PRO with iSub G tank + additional Aspire v2 tank. Love it... great flavors, great clouds, solid chunky setup. No leaks. Fully adjustable to suit different juices. The 0.3 ohm coil with the Aspire blew my socks off in terms of power, potency and feel good factor. (So good that I just picked up my second complete MVP3 setup from BIG as a backup)

    In terms of Juice, started with a batch of ecig-healthy from a friend (I know) quickly moved to some Mt Baker from vVv which is ace. Also have some feelife which I don't like unfortunately. Also some others from various suppliers in town.. I've been enjoying my vapemail !
    Wouldn't mind trying some others such as GLV but don't know where to get them at a good price. Any suggestions on other vapes would be very very welcome !

    There is no such thing unfortunatly ^^ but Ecig-Healthy use to have some. @skeeters is on his way there and might be able to tell you if they still have stock.

    Thanks for the description of your set up, I see you have back up and all, very nice :)

    Besides ecig-healthy as @Tibo mentioned, Micky's got a bit of GLV in various strengths. He's also just received a new batch of Halo, which is also excellent juice. Prices are competitive...imported juice isn't cheap but it's worth it IMO.

    @Siam Diesel + @Tibo + @All

    Thanks for your suggestions and welcomes. I have a fair bit of juice stock which I'm enjoying right now but will keep an eye out for the next batch with Mickey and others mentioned.

    Open also to suggestions on the next set of kit to get. I do need a good portable yet powerful going out set. Was looking at the Ego Mega but not sure opinions... what do people generally use for going out. I really want a leak free, powerful yet portable getup for those few hours a week I get to wander around the local establishments.

    I can't lug my MVP3 with me round bars in BK and don't get the necessary satisfaction fix from the others I have. Any ideas/ opinions welcomed...

    When I'm going out for the night, I usually take one of three mods...a Vapor Flask (when it's working, which it's not right now), an VS rDNA40 or a ProVari P3 Ti in 18490 mode (w/a spare battery). I don't care about being able to put it in my pocket...just that the battery will last most of the evening. Being box mods, the first 2 are more stable but the P3 is quite light (and pocketable, if needed). My tank of choice is always a full-size (5 ml) Nautilus...never been able to drain the sucker even after a hard night in Fun City. ;)

    I usually always take one mech and one VW mod. The Sig 150 is sometime my to go option for 3 reasons :

    1) it's a dual 18650
    2) I can use it as a weapon
    3) I dislike it quite a lot so if I lose or break it I wouldn't cry over it
