I saw a few UK builders post up on a FB page I use with them putting theirs under a van's wheel and running over it, never did any damage to it.....

At last a proper test, so other than answering rick's question, the durability is excellent

I was being sarcastic with my "chip" comment earlier. Reports I have heard are decent, albeit not many of them.

I PM'd Big to ask him to see if he could get any of these Heatvapes; next day he came back and said one of his friends has the DovPo Mini E-LTV (at a quite good price of 1,600 Thb) so I ordered one in camo.

Notice that it doesn't say anything about being water resistant (unlike the Heatvape), which @Rick O-Shea highlights in another post, due to the venting which it now has, so in that sense it's inferior to the Heatvape (not to mention only 35 watts, but that's more than enough for me and I don't need temp control at this point), but still looks to be pretty durable and good value for the price.

Will post some thoughts after I receive it, but for now a quick query: would the Panasonic 18650B 3400mah which I've also ordered be a good/safe battery for this mod or would the SONY VTC4 18650 2100mAh Battery- Flat Top - 30A be better?

What resistance / wattage do you vape at? I think the Panasonic is only about 4A, you can get an LG 3200mAh that's 10A, but probably not in Thailand.

I'm using mostly Subtank minis with the stock coils, nothing too high wattage wise, about 14-16 watt with the 1.2 ohm and 16-19 watt with the 0.5 ohm. Right now Big has Panasonic 18650B 3400mah and SONY VTC4 18650 2100mAh Battery in stock.
