Help % vg in kanger

has anyone tried using 99% vg juice in a kanger sub tank before, do you know if it would wick ?

 

I don't see why an OCC coil would not, but im not sure about the RBA Deck, I currently have 80+VG in both and no problems with chain vaping. I did think the RBA deck wouldn't manage it because the channels are quite small, but I was wrong.

Ive had them both up to 26 watts no problem, at 30 I did get some dry hits on the RBA Deck but that maybe my build

 

I also get dry hits on the RDA. Tried little cotton / much cotton / cottom in the juice channels. no luck yet! and that is on a 1,1ohm coil.

 

You can also try something like a larger id coil, reducing the power level or shutting down the airflow some to increase vacuum pressure.

 

Tried and tested. Standard occ 0.5 ohm coils do not really like 99% vg juice. After a couple of draws at 20 watts was getting a slight dry hit. I tried all 3 air settings to no avail. I have not tried the rba yet with high vg juice. Thanks for all your answers and opinions though guys. Much appreciated

It could be the batch of coils, I had problems with 4, the ones that came with my Nano and Mini. I ordered a pack of 5 at the same time and soon as I put one of those in they where fine. I have since rebuilt all the bad OCC coils and they work very well. Thats at a little over 80%VG, All my flavourings are PG so I dont really want to reduce flavour at this level of VG, but I wouldnt have thought they would be a big difference in thickness.

 

I would have thought the same mack. The coil was actually fine because I'd done 2 tanks with it already. But I'll give it another go with a rebuilt one later tonight

I have just loaded up my Nano with a stock 0.5 OCC and 100%VG, Ill let you know how it goes, flavours not going to be great lol.

Ok Ive vaped a tank of VG and the stock OCC coils wick fine up to 30 Watts, I did get 1 dry hit, but I was vaping crasy trying to get one. So I think there should be no problems when vaping normal what ever normal is lol.
