While i'm waiting for my Vamo V5 to arrive, i bought an ego v2 to use. Started off fine, however part of the LED display wasn't showing, but it worked fine, and i was able to adjust the voltage so i thought no problem.
After a few days of use, without dropping or banging against anything the voltage buttons seem to have stopped working and it's stuck on 3.8. It's still useable but it's very annoying.
Common problem? Anyone had the same issue and fixed it?

The LED screen is still working, and the toke counter, (i guess that's what the reading is) is working. When i press either + or - the screen changes to the volt display, but it won't go up or down.
    Cheers

Fixed thanks to advice from Vapor Mist.

Did you fix it by throwing it in the trash and buying a new one?

Or is there another way to do it? I'm just asking because I have a friend with the same dilemma,,,,, and there is nothing worse for a beginner vaper to have problems with their starter kit and go back to the analogs if you know what I mean...

Happened to me first time around. I think I was on day 3. I had a bunch of tank leaks then went to switch out a new battery that should have been fully charged and it turned out to be a dud. I thought fukc messing about with all this crap.

2nd time around is much much better mostly due to buying better gear.

.....Back on topic - I don't own one but interested in the fix all the same. It wasn't as easy as battery too low or something?

I'm guessing voltage adjustment was locked?

Ahh, you forgot to convert English to Chinese seconds. Common mistake. It's like when I place a FastTech order that says "ships in 5 days" it takes 2 weeks before I get a shipping update.

Was it 3sec to lock and 6 to unlock or 6 for both?

I have the lock function on my SVD but not on my vv v3.

Personally I don't like it and feel it's an empty function they just tack on for free.

Checked on my eGo-V V3 (figure it'll be the same). It's 3 sec to lock or unlock holding both the "+" and "-" buttons down together. On the V3, it took just 3 secs for either one. When it's locked, there's also a very tiny lock icon in the bottom right hand corner of the display...almost need a magnifying glass to really make it out, though.

Completely agree...I'm always fiddling with wattage to fine tune things so don't think I'd ever use this 'feature'.
