Okay, I know I am asking a lot here but I was kinda wondering if anyone could recommend me a Rebuildable Atomizer from any of the ones I have listed below.

I would love to get into this, but I know myself and I am pretty crap at things like this...Lol

However, my folks are coming to visit on Tuesday and I thought I would put my old man to good use and get him to give me a hand.

Well, I found the following atomizers on a Thai forum (Oh and sorry there are so many, I didn't now which ones to leave out)
I used Google Chrome to translate, it wasn't the best but the main points were okay, I think.

    1) I was just wondering if some atomizers are easier to rebuild than others, or is it more if you can do one, you can do them all.

    2) Oh yeah and I have no tools whatsoever, so what tools would I need for the job? I see some of the deals gave wrenches and screwdrivers. What else would I need and can I get all them online?

    3) Umm....and lastly, I like the idea of dripping.
How many of the atomisers below allow that? and what is a dripping shield?

I am well out of my depth here and any help would be much appreciated.

    Cheers Angie :vaping:

I've tried all of those styles dripper and RBA tanks, sold them all, way too much messing around and couldn't get a decent vape from them.
Other get on with them just fine though.

I just stick to my good old iClear 30:grin:

My RBA's is sitting in a box with alot of other vaping stuff, dont use em, my main atomizer is a protank2 rebuilded with ss mesh, i also use iclear30 alot...:vaping:
But if you relly want to have a RBA ill go with a agat2 or a RSST, the rsst is a little easyer to build but i personal like the AGAT2 better.

if u want to try dripping the IGO-L is decent.

For SS mesh tanks AGA-T2 are the best.

    Both cheap and really good.

I tried RBD with the Trident and I like it... However, like others mentioned it above, there are some excellent tanks (iClear30, ProTank) which makes RBA/RBD less used.
Still, I like my dripper, especially usefull when testing new flavour: make a micro coil and use cottons whick (yeah, simple organic cotton from pharmacy or vanity stores). It's so easy to change the whick that u can just replace it when switching flavours.

Sorry I cannot be of better assistance regarding all your listed models, I only tried one and that's enough for me. But I'd still recommend you to take one with adjustable airflow, that makes such a difference!

I am a huge fan of the iClear30 too
Although I haven't really got much to compare it with. I have only tried the Kanger Protank (not a big fan) and the Smoktech Vivi Nova - although that had a very short lifespan....bloody cats knocked my SVD off the sofa and killed it on the first night
I have just ordered the Protank2 so we'll see how I get on with that. I just saw that the Kanger have just realised their new tank called the UNITANK I wonder when that will hit our neck of the woods.
Anyway, it was real good to get the lowdown from an experienced vaper...Thank you!

I did a bit more research tonight. I said I wanted an RBA...didn't realise that it is also split into two groups RGA (I think, that's what they call the tank one) It really was the RDA (dripping one) that I was interested in. I could have cut that list above down to just a few "Whatta Noob!"
I didn't even know that you could rebuild Protanks...Lol

I was reading about that IGO-L just now, yeah it sounded like a good one. Cheers for the recommendation, although I am a bit worried now, especially after reading this on the Smoktech website Screenshot_2013-10-06-23-55-23.jpg
I really am inexperienced in all this and I can see myself blowing up my devices!

    - - - Updated - - -

I got all confused with the terminology, I should've done my homework first before diving in witha super-long post...Lol
It actually was an RDA that I wanted to try, I have heard that the flavours come out som much stronger using one. Plus, being able to switch easily between them, sounds fun to me. I seem to get bored easily of the same flavour and would like to switch and swap with ease.
Although like I was just saying to Spacemonk, read that RBA is not for the inexperienced so now I am kinda worried that I will seriously mess it up and end up damaging my devices. This is probably a stupid question but is there a dripper which has premade coils?

You're totally crap at this kind of tactile activity, but you're interested as to how things will work out. So, you've decided to get the old man to have a go while he's over for a visit ? !

Why don't you get an i30 and a Protank.... watch some youtube videos together and then hit the beach?

rebuildables is more for experienced users. You can check your coil/wick resistance if you have a device which allows you to do so.

Most vv/vw devices will not allow you to fire below 1.2ohms so you don't have to worry about your device "blowing up".

    Hi RHC,

My take would be to start off with something lower on the budget side to see if you like Dripping/ Building. Recommend maybe an IGO-W as a starter. If Dripping is your style then upgrade later.

You could actually wrap high ohm coils for VV/VW mods to fire easily. Just a few more coils will do. Single Coils around .7 - 1.2 ohms hits nicely.

Personally I use the Nimbus, Trident, and Kayfun lite (my allday vape).

Hope this helps. Youtube has plenty of building videos and reviews for you to watch and learn from.

    Happy Vaping:vaping:

I have to agree that Rebuildable is more for advanced users... however, if you are ready to
    - invest in some tools (RBA/RDA, Wires & whicks, Multimeter)
    - learn a few stuffs (tinkering tricks, Ohms Law...)
then there is nothing stopping you ;) it aint that hard and there are plenty tutorial/videos on Youtube.

It's safer with VV/VW device because they provide various protection (short protection, low ohms limitation, low battery cut off...) Just make sure to follow some safety rules regarding Ohms and battery safety if you use a Mech mod. (FYI: low ohm or depleted battery will drain too much on the battery, therefore risking it to overheat and burn)

The beach is definitely on the agenda (the SVD, the MVP.V2, the iClear30s, the Protank & the Protank II are all ready for their little holiday...so that's all sorted!) :sunny:

The folks are gonna be here for three whole weeks, plenty of time....to be honest with you just as long as my old man has a bottle of Chang or a bottle of Sangsom within easy reach he's a happy man and wouldn't have minded helping his daughter out.

But yeah, I guess I am getting carried away. It's just that I am all excited about this vaping lark and wanna try it all (Like a big kid in a sweet shop.)

However, decided to put it on hold for a while, there's plenty of time to try new stuff later...and for now I will just enjoy the cool stuff that I have already got!

Just wanna say thank you for all those links, very helpful.
I haven't given up on wanting to drip...I just think that I am getting a bit ahead of myself and I should wait a little while, what with going away and all that. I need to learn to be patient (not my strong point) :)
Once again, thanks for taking the time to give me some advice!

    - - - Updated - - -

Thanks Cal......I feel kinda silly now, really wish that I hadn't rushed in with this thread, it is alot more complicated than I first thought! I reckon that I should be happy with what I have got for the time being (and I am well chuffed that it's kept me off the cancer sticks for almost three months!) However, it is something that I would like to do in the future though, when I get a bit more experience in the World of Vaping!
    :cheers2:

I use The IClear 30 and Protank 2 as my number one Tanks, My AGA-T2 is sett up with a SS wire wick, and its vape like a champ, I don't use it much b/c of the filling and cleaning is way to much fiddling and time consuming. For dripping I use a Trident, IGO-L and HH.357, if you don't like rebuilding but like dripping, buy a HH.357 or a Cisco automizer.

Hi Eric, just wanted to say thanks again for telling me about those attys.
I just put in an order for the Cisco Atomiser, but after reading a few reviews I couldn't decide whether to get the Cisco 510 LR or the 306 LR.
So thought I'd make things easy for myself with the decision making, and bought them both!
I can't wait to try them out, especially as my nine bottles of MBV came just last week (I have only been used to cheap Chinese stuff)
