    Hi Guys.

Having used my DNA30 for the last six months (SD will know exactly how long it is), I used it and only it all day and every day.
While using my Kayfuns and a Rose V2 and Nautilus on it, she has worked ike a dream.

Recently I had noticed that the threads have started to loosen and now the only atty I can use on it is the Nautilus.

Does anyone know of a fix other that using some white threading tape on my RBA's threading..... I suppose that will work, but I haven't tried it yet.

    Any ideas chaps?

    Replace the 510...
I have a spare one but I think I will keep it just in case, maybe see how much from VS it would be to get one but it would need soldering on....

I have the exact same problem with my SVD.

I don't know how easy it is to get access to your VS 510 connector but this was a quick and easy temporary fix for stripped threads on the SVD.

I will try that this weekend, Patts.
I think it will be a bit finicky because the thread is soldered or as you Americans say SODDERED into place

    Thanks that's a great help

There is an old guitarist trick to repair threads on a wood body of a guitar that I've been meaning to try on mods. The trick is to put superglue (gel type as it is not runny) inside the stripped threads, then insert the screw. Superglue is basically liquid plastic. When it dries, the superglue will mold itself to the screw threads. Having done it with guitars it works great. It should work on a mod as electrical conductivity is not needed on the threads that is stripped. However, don't get the glue on the parts that electricity needs to flow through.

^Without connection to the threads on the VS would there be a complete circuit?
