1. Welcome to Thailand Vapers, an English language forum for members in Thailand and the rest of Asia to talk about vaping.
Commonly referred to as e-cigarettes, vaping is really about the use of personal vaporizers (mods) and atomizers (tanks, clearos, RBAs, RDAs, RTAs) filled with e-liquid.

Hey everybody, just posting my Newbie intro and a quick vaping testimony before diving in..

As a relatively new vaper I'm happy to say that after 30yrs of smoking those nasty old analogs, and failing at every attempt to quit over the past 20yrs, I "immediately" found success through vaping!.. It's the greatest feeling in the world to know with 100% certainty that I'll never smoke another analog again..

I joined Thailand Vapors mainly for the support of other Vapers here in LOS that are far more experienced in keeping their gear and supplies maintained without many headaches from the powers-that-be.. As for the current vaping enforcement controversy, I can say that the checkpoints are the only "real concern" for people vaping while out-n-about in Pattaya City.. Outside of that, public vaping in Pattaya is perfectly safe as long as you remember to "look for police before vaping" and use discretion by not blowing big clouds everywhere you go.. I'm sure that the vaping lifestyle will "eventually" be excepted here in LOS, until then, stick with commonsense and you'll be just fine..

With that being said, it's great to have found a good Vape Forum here in LOS!!..

I got my ejuice confiscated this morning at the customs airport. I'm back to cigarettes...damn

Good thing I followed this forum's advise and dismantle my tank so it's not so visible through the scanners.

Sorry to hear this...what happened? Where was your juice...checked luggage? Were you selected for screening on your way through the green channel?

Not selected screening my friend. They install a god damn scanner/ x-ray machine at the check out luggage area...

They can spot your ejuice bottles. As soon as I saw the machine I thought this is it. I'm spending my life in Thai jail. Luckily they just confiscate it. No issue summons or penalty. I consider myself lucky.

Oh ya...it was in my check in luggage. And since they are my eJuice (4 bottles X 60ml)... it's not so much of a great lost to me. I brew my own ejuice anyway.

This is a good experience to share. Now we know the Thai government is really cracking down on this matter.

On another matter, which is out of topic. Watch your wallet. My friend was victim to pick pocket ladyboy. They may seems playful touching you every where, pretending to lure a deal. But some of them are body searching you in disguise.

That's why I always bring an empty wallet with me so that they can take this and don't do a cavity search.:rolling laugh:

The scanner has always been there...they're using it more frequently but they don't scan everyone. Best to go through the green line with a bunch of people and stay to the outside.
