1. Welcome to Thailand Vapers, an English language forum for members in Thailand and the rest of Asia to talk about vaping.
Commonly referred to as e-cigarettes, vaping is really about the use of personal vaporizers (mods) and atomizers (tanks, clearos, RBAs, RDAs, RTAs) filled with e-liquid.

Will be in Chiang Mai for a couple of days on a school trip at the end of the week. What's the situation like there regarding vaping? Do you have to be very wary like in BKK? Police heavy handed?

Low profile is the key word for vaping anywhere in Thailand.

Kind of depends where you are, where I am you can be quite open about it. Was sitting with the provincial police chief last month vaping in a cafe, he had a couple of nice mods!!!

Have never felt overly constrained when vaping in public here, though am sensibly sensitive to the particular surroundings. Have seen Thais blowing clouds without a care in the world down town--but discrete is better.
