Commonly referred to as e-cigarettes, vaping is really about the use of personal vaporizers (mods) and atomizers (tanks, clearos, RBAs, RDAs, RTAs) filled with e-liquid.

    Hi All
I am due to go through swampy and was wondering if a vape pen is better than a mod to take thru the checkpoints? In the past I have followed advice here and broken down the kit into parts and been through several times without any problems. However was wondering if pen style devices would be more discrete. A bit worried with the Mod as it can be picked out by a sharp cookie on the xray machines.
    Your thoughts and experience appreciated.

Inbound or outbound? If outbound, you're only going through the security scanners so either one won't be a problem. I just went through Swampy outbound with an Aspire Nautilus AIO and 4 full pods without any issue.

If inbound through TH Customs, the pen would be easier to put in your pocket but unless you're selected for secondary screening (usually on your checked luggage), neither should be an issue either.
