    Hi,
I ordered about 6000 thousand baht worth of stuff from ecigwarehouse in the U.K.
All went well at first,I got the usual emails to start with and then one to say that my order has been shipped. But it had no tracking number.I emailed back several times but only got one reply to say that they would get back to me.

It was shipped on Monday and I have sent an about 5 emails which were all ignored.I presume my stuff was shipped to Thailand without a tracking number.

Is there anything I can do.

it really depends on several factors ....

1st unless you have waited for at least 6 weeks, there is no point in complaining. I know its sounds harsh but f.e. VM s MTB oder took 8 days, my MTB order to Chiang Mai took 4-5 weeks to arrive at my place. So its doesnt sound nice, but its really rare that postal items get missing, but its very common that there is a huge delay.

as for the shipping method, you basially selected the one which was least expensive to ship, and lots of them just dont track anymore when they leave the country of oirign, although keep in mind you did choose wisely, if you would have shipment with FEDEX or DHL its like a foolproof guarantee that you will pay additional taxes as well, with the normal slow shipping without tracking you did choose, you might get lucky and wont pay :)

    Thanks Oil,
    What's bothering me is...........
I chose and paid for EMS shipping. That is always with a tracking number.
And why are they not replying to my emails.
Also anything that gets sent to me that has any resale value and is not registered post, dispersal.I'm upcountry.

Jai yen yen Chiangrai, it's only been a week. Maybe their just busy or disorganized and haven't found the # yet. You can't really demand your money back until you've given it a couple of months. If they didn't sent it EMS then all you can expect is a apology and refund of the EMS fee, and perhaps (if a good company) they will re-ship the order if it doesn't show up in a couple of months.
(Most websites have a disclaimer that their not responsible for shipments after they leave the country which is why I say, perhaps.)

    Call them on the phone?

What kind of payment did you use? If it is Paypal, you may start a procedure in case they do not reply to your mails... But before, make sure they are not responding because shop closed on w-e !!!

Good pick up Oil. Even credit cards usually have some buyer protection. Claims take a long time but you do get your money eventually.

Very difficult to get the money back when paid with credit card, experienced a problem once, never solved... That's why now, I am using Paypal only when buying on internet: also met a problem once, but solved with money back in less than a week!

Or the best solution: buying with our Thai vendors, bank transfer, and the items ordered arrive the day after without problem, simple and great!

I only buy hardware from our thai vendors. Main reason is when I want something I want it yesterday. Down side of course is the limited choice but always problem free.

+1 had same experience, even when its some proven credit card scam, my bank didnt want to do a chargeback
although from VISA / Mastercard Rules you have the right to do so, but only your bank can initiate that.
+1 our vendors here are lightning fast, totally reliable and trustworthy as far i can tell, and they have decent prices in most of the cases as well

    Thanks again Oil.
It looked like a really professional site.
I paid by PayPal and have just opened a dispute and escalated it.
PayPal said they would try to decide within 30 days.

While I was onto PayPal I got an email to say that the money had been refunded which it hadn't.Apparently this is part of the scam.
As one guy said online "why are PayPal still allowing him to transact if there have been so many claims.

Do you think PayPal will actually pay up in the end.

Thanks for the advice guys i would not have known what to do otherwise

paypal is acting very fast on claims like that, i know at least 10+ people which got their accounts locked down for some time for the mildest complaints LOL

the buyer protection usully takes 2+ weeks in my experience, so nothing fast there

On my own experience with Paypal, they will try to contact the shop by mail first, to get some explanations of the problem viewed from his side. And if they don't get any answer (it was my case), all is going very fast then, and the money is refunded on the PayPal account as a first step, and soon after, to the credit card bank account as a 2nd step.

    O.K,
    Strange outcome.

After I escalated it on PayPal they contacted the seller.
He supplied the tracking number to them.
The next day the parcel came.

I paid in GDP an the stuff was supposed to come from England.
    It came from China.

There were 4 Vision Spin batteries and I'm trying to find out if they are fake or not.
They came in a box of 4,cheap packaging and the airflow is much too much for my Inokin 30S but good for my wife's Vision Vivi Nova.

A charger stand which was perfect.

And a lynard (290bht)which was missing.

What is your advice now.Have I been ripped off enough to keep complaining. If the batteries are original it would be o.k.
    What next?????????????
