Taifun GT 2 Clone 1:1

I have just bought this RTA and is getting it in a couple of days. This is my first taifun, so i'm really looking forward to this. I have seen a video presentation and it looks great and can hold a ton of liquid. All my other RTA is mostly dual coils,

 

You bought it locally ? I'm still thinking getting one too, just to have a try at it.

I use a ss mesh build like PBusardo does in this video. Works great!

 

I really want one of these suckers .. Version 2 would be nice

@jon. bougt here in china. I am Danish but live in china. I payd $ 22 for it and it is a 1:1 I should have it tomorrow, so I will let you guys know what I think of it.

 

after 1+ year of vaping the GT is still one of my all time favorite and most used Attys i ever used, i admit i have had some troubles figuring the best wicks in the beginning with it, but nothing comes really close to it, if it had to put one up on a second place it would be the Erlkoenigin but still the GT is the best ....

i am waiting for some reviews of the GT2 @ FT before i order i got burned a lot in the past with tooo quick orders of crappy shit, so i am moving slower those days

 

@oil. Mine should be landing today, because I live in china it only takes 2 days for delivery. I have not bought mine from FT, because they don't sell to china anymore, but the place I bought it have very good products.
I have been watching a lot of videos with the GT and can see where the prob was with the leaking ect. This one have the juice control, so extra wick on top of the coil should not be nesessary.
This will be my first single coil RTA since my kayfuns retired, so I am really looking forward to this great looker.

have you compared it to the orchid? looking to experiment so wondering how it compares.

 

I owned and extensively used a GT for a while and the Orchid produces better flavor and vapor IMHO. More RDA-like vape experience compared to the GT. I would also say the Rose V2, Aquas and Erlkonigins beat it with flavor abilities. Not to say it's not that great but I found not as great as these. Biggest plus with GT was the ease of coil and wick setup.

 

The new version has juiceflow control as well as airflow control.

 

That's really nice to see. BTW I was referring my comparison to V1. Wonder if juice flow control was even that necessary because my V1 had always wicked very well no matter what juice I used. That's one of the other positives I found with it. I like the look of the v2

Looks like the juiceflow control would help if you were having any leaking problems. I've never had any leaking with my V1 but I've read that others have.

Never any leaking with the v1 I owned but I would have occasional gurgling at a start of a vape after it had been unused a while....but it always cleared itself up after a couple drags. Ultimately got rid of it as it was falling down the ladder compared to my other tanks in terms of how it rendered flavor. Seems the new version has improved that some. Again, I really like how it looks....super nice. Thanks for sharing the vids!

Got my G2 today and I must say that I am very satisfied with this so far.
Came very clean and the machining is top class.
Juice control so no leaks and airflow control is fantastic. Full open air control and this thing can blow clouds like any dripper.
Flavor is in line with my Aqua V2 and the Orchids.
I am running a 1,5ohm coil with Japanese cotton and with RY 4 with 70% VG at 12W on the Istick. and the airflow on 3. I wiil experiment to find my sweetspot on this beauty.
So very well spendt $22.
It is actually taller than the Istick and think that it will look better on the Cloupor 30w mini when I get that soon. I also tried it on the Sigelei 100w, but the it is talllllll
on the Hana it is ok but the hana is .2ohm off, so I dont really use it anymore.
