1. Welcome to Thailand Vapers, an English language forum for members in Thailand and the rest of Asia to talk about vaping.
Commonly referred to as e-cigarettes, vaping is really about the use of personal vaporizers (mods) and atomizers (tanks, clearos, RBAs, RDAs, RTAs) filled with e-liquid.

    Hi everyone,
I have been vaping on and off for a few years. I started with the Elipse, which leaked like crazy a few years ago here in Thailand. After that I went with the Ego T. I then moved to Canada for a year and was using the Vamo 2 with Vivi Nova. I have been back in Thailand for 8 months and smoking Marlboros and it's time to quit again. Looking for suggestions for a **good** kit or mod that is compact as I plan to vap seceretly at work. Also looking for juice connections. Thanks for any and all advice :)

I say get yourself an iTaste VV

    Innokin iTaste VV V3.0

and for atty, as yourauntbob suggests, get a Aspire ET-S BDC Glassomizer 2.4ml

    Aspire BDC Clearomizer

Nice little setup, low maintenance, very compact, USB passthrough, all together inexpensive but flexible enough to keep you happy for a while. Best part, Micky ships super fast AND has your juices.

This looks like a pretty neat set up. Is there anything required (aside from Juice)?

The iTaste VV comes with a USB cable, but you'll need to plug it into a USB charger or your computer to charge it, it doesn't come with a USB charger. With the Aspires, you need to buy replacement coils for it. Most people seem to go through one a week, Micky sells them and I believe they are 90 baht each. Other than those, just juice.

Update: First off, thanks for the advice everyone! I bought the Itaste v3.0 and Aspire BDC from Mikey. I bought the Kick in the nutz from Vipar Mist. Both suppliers were fast and friendly!

I have the Itaste at the lowest setting whitch is V4.1 and I am it seems like it is running to hot. I can hear a boiling sound. Has anyone else had this problem with the unit?

I'm not sure whats going on with yours, but straight from Innokin's website:

    Variable Voltage:
voltage can be adjusted from 3.3 – 5.0 volts in .1 volt increments.

The boiling sound is just e-liquid vaporizing, it is perfectly normal. How is the flavor from it? Does it taste burnt? From my calculations your wattage seems to be within normal ranges based on stock coils in the Aspire.

You actually reminded me I bought a USB pass through device. Its my back up in case my charger dies. I must dig it out and test it again. Would look kind of silly but I could also use it on my power bank for out and about vaping if needed. :vaping:

Here she is - VV and 8400mah of battery :rolling laugh:

It actually vapes well. I don't recall the voltage settings but there are 4. I'm on the 3rd highest with a 2 ohm coil and no problems. A good thing to have tucked away just in case.

Note: this setup doesn't actually vape because the ohms are too low. It does look totally gangster though...
