smoked a normal cig tonight

so was having some beers with a friend. he saw a pack of cigarettes in the refrigerator that i havent smoked in months. kept them in the refrigerator as a bit of a reminder. anyway, we started talking and decided to each light one up just for the sake of doing it.

tasted horrible. i spent the next hour or so trying to get rid of the taste. when i was in the process of actually smoking it i realized how little smoke is generated from them that cigarette basically confirmed i never want to go back.



question for discussion: has anyone else been off the analog for more than a month and tried one? if so, was it at all enjoyable?

 

I tried once, after stopped smoking for a year.

It tasted awful, bad smell covered in my shirt for all night. So I decided I would never go back to a normal cig again.

 

Smoked one during songkran because couldn't get my mech to fire and it tasted like licking an ashtray.

Had a couple since then actually due to a lady friend who has lit a new smoke then handed it to me whist she went and did something. Then she surprises the hell out of me by pulling out a little Ego4 with a cheap clearo and some strange tasting juice. I cleaned up the 510 connection which was quite dirty (dont know how long since she has charged it?)

Think I'll buy her a new clearo and some decent juice. Wish I had some Deadly Sin or something like that left.

 

Will be same for everybody I assume... Tried a cig 1 month after starting to vape, was so bad that put it away immediately and never tested again since...

 

After my first few days of vaping, I tried a cig and was really surprised by how much worse it tastes after vaping for awhile, than it does after simply quitting smoking for awhile.

After about two weeks of vaping, I had 4 cigs one night with a few beers, and by the 4th cig, the awful taste seemed to mostly fade into the background. So, even though the first one is absolutely repulsive, it wouldn't take long to fall back into it if you weren't careful.
