Proposal for new forum category

Ahoy. This has been mentioned a few times already. Not sure if the lack of response comes from no interest or because each mention was technically a thread hijack.

So, just to be clear, here s a fresh thread calling for the creation of a DIY / MAKER forum.

The line of thougt is that for those of us that are either in the process if making gear from scratch or are more than a little into significantly modifying existing gear, being in Thailand adds its own challenges.

Can someone confirm the suspicion that a place dedicated to discussing things like SOURCING tools and materials would be valuable to the community?

Naturally there would be other sub topics such as exchanging design ideas, discussions on tool use and techniques, assistance with troubleshooting, sharing how-to's, etc.

If the burden of more work for admins and moderators is an issue, take this as an offer to volunteer for those jobs as well.

Was thinking about rotary tools, cnc machines, 3d printers, and so on. Things not typically categorized as juice...so, no!
