Interesting, although I don't see much about the testing? I would be a little hesitant to try this until some other people have...

So if Five Pawns are indeed using this base then there is something seriously fishy going on. Anyway take this as you would anything on the internet but this is the official response that I was provided.

The Reddit discussion is interesting-but, being someone who does get a reaction from PG-I'll stick to high VG.

 

PG does seem to irritate quite a few people. I don't believe it's psychosematic. People say you're not allergic to cosmetic products with PG so you shouldn't be allergic vaping it, but cosmetics aren't inhaled.

Anyways, I'm pretty curious about any superior products, the problem is I would want to see some more about the safety. PG has been used quite extensively, vaping something brand new seems like a guinea pig experiment, I hope the people trying to get this inform whoever they give it to that it's not yet studied for vaping.
This sounds potentially scary. While new technology is usually a good thing, I hope no one gets hurt from vaping this, it doesn't seem to have much testing...

 

Exactly, another potential nail in the coffin of ecigs if this starts poisoning people.

 

You're right, it would be great ammunition for them to strictly control juice and not allow for any small businesses to make juice at home for sure.

Not that they are completely without reason, it does seem like people are buying this for cosmetic use and without really any warning are selling this to consumers? Five Pawns doesn't seem like a small company, I sure hope this already isn't something really bad


Being someone that has always bought from smaller companies (and when I first started that was mostly all there was), I'm sad to see stuff like this give the anti-ecig people more ammunition to regulate the hell out of ecigs.

 

Absolutely- it's just what we don't need-if it truly is untested.

 

I now mix my own but I always aim for about 20:80 PG to VG and, although a bit too thick for the earlier atomisers and cartomisers-it's fine for all the RBAs and subohm stuff.

 

I actually prefer the 50/50 I order now, but it's smooth, some other 50/50 stuff has a throat hit and I don't like that. I tried the high VG, I think 75-80% and I actually prefer the 50/50.
