A few of you guys might know how much I like the Rose, i have 2 I use daily and one spare.
After having some problems with the old KayFun 4 mainly getting it ro wick the way i wanted it to, the leaking of juice sometimes and so on I then found the Rose...

First time I tried to build it it was a nightmare, i threw it into the drawer for a good 4 weeks
Then I watched lots of videos and decided to give it another go

Slowly but surely I got the hang of it all.
It's been a long time now using them and they are by far the best tasting and wicking tanks I have used.

Yes they take time to coil and wick compared to other tanks but get it right and it is fantastic.
I wick it like Phil's second way, but I leave all the ends out a little bit then I back tuck them into the holes so it is flush and filled the holes completely.

I also vape so he airhole is always pointing upwards to the sky, no gurgle that way
I think Phil summed it up very well...

I hated The Rose 2 at first, but then i realized that it's not meant to be for lung hitters. Treated with respect and in the correct way you can get an amazing amount of flavour. Granted coil and wicking it can be a challenge at first. I have tried all 3 ways and the best i have found is doing it the same way as -V- has stated. I enjoy it first thing in the morning with my coffee. I only have the juice flow open 1.25 turns and it wicks perfectly without any gurgling or dry hits. I use it on my KATO mech mod so i build it with a 0.8 ohm coil.

I hit around 1.3 ohms on the coils I built, at 16 W that's a great vape with them...

I'm curious, @MacAdder , do you build yours with the 28awg kanthal ?
I only have this wire and my first build came at 1.7 ohm...
I would like to come closer to 1.0 ohm or something...

That's weird...I never had a problem with gurgling on either of mine and never heard about such an issue before.

Been saying for quite a while and it hasn't changed, it's the best flavor producing RTA I own (the V2). I can accept the tight airflow on it just fine but to have a version with adjustability would be awesome.

Only built on mine twice, both times with nickel. I used the nano tank and TBF the diameter of the drip tip is much smaller than the standard size, I might prefer it as standard.
Never had any gurgling issues at all though. Probably would if I vaped it now, it's had El Kamino sat in it for over two months lol

I built it with 26 gauge, 3mm and 5 wraps I think.... or there abouts. I wanted to use it with the KATO mech mod so had to sub ohm.

Funny you mentioned because that is what I have been keeping in one of mine a long time! In fact, I hadn't vaped that particular Rose in a while so just filled it up with some more and guess what? A small amount of gurgling! I think I jinxed myself! He-he! I'll try adjusting the juice flow some more and if it keeps going I'll rebuild it.

Watched much of Phil's video and I can appreciate his considering it something like a gentleman's, leisure type of vape. Not sure I fit the descripotion of gentleman but I do like it when relaxing and kicking back with a drink. Biggest thing is the flavor and I am not surprised Phil considers it one of the very best he has ever used when it comes to that. I think he used the word "outstanding"...agreed.

I really should try to do a successful build on my Rose v.2- tried one build and hated the thing, never touched it since.
