    Just heard about this. Still no cause of death identified. Prince...gone...Whitney Houston gone...Michael Jackson gone...biggest stars of the 1980's are all gone. The only one left is Madonna.

    I have always enjoyed all different types of music and Prince was definitely one the best there ever was. Not many people know that he can play at least 27 instruments and he was the only performer on his first studio album. The man was a musical genius and he could funk with the best of them. RIP

    I can not say I liked everything he did. To me live he was actually way better than his records. And I like he's one artists who insisted in artistic indepence. Same is for Mr. Bowie. Controversial personalities at times.

    In an article I read someone asked Eric Clapton who is the greatest living guitar player. He said: I don't know, ask Prince.

    Totally agree, yet again, Darth--what a parody of what she used to be--sadly she was crap back then also--so, it really doesnt say much for her now.
    How anyone could include her in a list of 'Musical Greats' beggars belief.

    Actually, sorry, I just saw the Post, yes true there were FA good performers from the Eighties--all came before by a long stretch.
