So I just put in two orders sending to different friends in America for 100mg plain ejuice. Both are 120mil size. If only one gets through customs I will be happy , if both get through then I will have some for sale

Instructions to both senders are the same, ship USPS registarted airmail, take off the label, send as "food flavoring"

Now I play the waiting game..........I hate this game

I'll start with diluted and see how that goes, probably 100mg/ml I think it is, and see where I go from there. But I have a couple of others as well to rechack before I make a final decision.

Don't know the quality etc of any of them so there is a little trial and error onvolved before I can recommend, But I am also looking at health cabin as well.

They only go as high as 36mg/ml though

 

That's what I thought and they do ship to Thailand.

The reason i am wavering to and from pure nic is that 10ml 99% pure will make 600ml of juice at 18mg/ml. That's 20 X 30 ml bottles

!0 ml is a very small amount to bring in and will last me for about 10 - 12 weeks. Where as bringing in diluted nic will necessitate a lot more imports, and please, no one get on the pure nic bandwagon again. I have stated my position on this clearly. More imports of even 36mg/ml are, potentially just as dangerous as one import of pure nicotine in ONE small package. Go with 36mg/ml and a total import of 300ml of base is required for the same final quantity.

And I am afraid that my view is that if a company is shipping this product, then they should be capable of packaging it safely. Also the handlers during shipping should be capable of doing so safely, ie. without breakage. And apart from ALL that it is NOT my responsibility for safety until it reaches me. I have NO control over the packaging and shipping process.

 

Just make sure your stuff is USP. A lot of site show food grade which is not recommended from reputable suppliers. I have said it before, you are going to put this directly into your lungs. for me, i will not take chances when it comes to that. best of luck, if everything goes perfect maybe we can compare mixes at the meet up

As a newbee both on vaping and in this forum it is interesting things mentioned here. First of all....does anyone have any actual experience about importing nicotine, and how big the risk is? Or to put it another way....have anyone tried to import several times and have any of the shipments been stopped by customs? And what happens to the person who is listed as receiver of the shipment if it get stopped? Do you get fined or thrown in jail for a couple of years?

 

Just a little aside here. I spent 3 years as the Chief of HazMat for the Kandahar Fire Department in Afghanistan. Pure nicotine can kill you. Spilling a drop of it on you can make you severely ill or kill you, irregardless of washing it off. The vapors from mixing it can make you severely ill or kill you. Protocol for handling pure nicotine involves a gas mask, a vapor hood, and several articles of protective clothing. All articles that came into contact with the nicotine should be incinerated. Have fun with that in your kitchen.

It reminds me of my one of my old fire chiefs. We had some pipe he wanted us to weld, but it was galvanized (which releases poisonous zinc fumes when welded) so we told him no. He decided to do it himself, outside with plenty of ventilation. He spent the rest of the night curled up in a ball under a scalding hot shower, literally burning his skin with the water his chills were so bad.

I bought half a liter of 200mg/ml base, that's the strongest ill mess with, and it will be diluted to 50mg/ml outdoors, with gloves and an apron and me holding my breath. I will then test the nicotine content with sulfuric acid and bromothymol blue. Assisting me will be my wife's friend who has a bachelors in chemistry from Chula.

 

Thanks a lot Ryan. I agree with you....pure nicotine is extremely dangerous, so your warnings are absolutely important. And your advice to use max. 200mg/ml base and how to handle it will be good to know. Personally I had some chemistry in university but long time since and all forgotten hehe. Think I've made up my mind not to import any of this from china at time being; why I asked is that I'm currently in norway and on my way to 5 weeks stay in thailand. It seems I don't get my ejuices I ordered in time and will run out while being there. So I think I will try Mickey's in stead of improvising some import that might can go wrong. The only downside to Mickey's juice (so far I got Halo Freedom Juice on my top fav list) is that, as far as I can see, his max is 18 mg/ml, and I like at least 24 to get the right kick. But for 2-3 weeks it will do I think...maybe it even makes me vape a little less when i go back to 24 .
