Newbie to vaping & forum

Hi Everyone,

I'm Thai-American, living in Thailand for a few years, who was just recently introduced to vaping through a friend. I have fairly little knowledge of vaping aside from reading most of the newbie posts here.

A little background:
I grew up in the USA and did not really smoke cigarettes, however I would regularly go to Hookah/Shisha/Baraku bars. Since I have moved to Thailand I have found that 1.) The Baraku quality does not taste very good and 2.) Due to recent law enforcement, it has been fairly difficult to find a place that has Baraku.

Working here in Thailand, I primarily only smoke when I drink which only a couple times per week, to release stress. I just purchased through a friend a Joyetech Ecom, which I was not very satisfied with. Low vapor generation and getting e-liquid in my mouth from heavy drags, perhaps the model is not for me.

I have decided to order from Khun Big, and give vaping another shot.
After some online research(primarily Reddit) and information from this forum, I have just purchased minutes ago the eVic-VTC mini express kit, Uwell Crown head, Sony VTC4 battery and some Bamskilicious E-liquid.

Overall, Khun Big was very helpful and quick to reply my PM.
He established what he did/did not have in stock and was able to throw some recommendations my way.
I look forward to receiving my vaping gear and getting to know this community better.

Yes, I had exactly the same experience when vaping with the 510 pen models, Now that you got your first sub ohm kit, you will experience a whole new world of vaping and it is great.

You are in the right place, this forum has so much useful information and so many people willing to help and give information, Do Not hesitate to search or ask, So many helpful members and threads on here.

Wait until you get into RBA it is very unique and great, you might be overwhelmed or reluctant at first, but Just jump right in! There are many threads here on mods, atomizers, and rebuilding, you name they got it.

I see you all over the threads and was originally going to contact you first for help of my 1st mod.
I have read about the coils going & battery being drained depending on setting.
My next order which will be in a week or so will consist of spare coils, 1 more battery & a charger as I hear that it is "not recommended" to charge the battery in the mod.

I will also be consulting the forum(not sure which section, if there already is a discussion for this) for what to setting and coil setup for my current purchase.

all the above, and yes including the movie, I still watched it what it was for. I was mentally shattered and left in a twisting nether when I found out season 2 was not picked up.

There are far more well informed and advanced members that have experience on here when it comes to coils, Resistance, set ups and builds. I am still learning every day.

Welcome to the forum. I hope you will like it here it's a fine starter kit you got your hand on, but i would also as @Siam Diesel advise you to get the RBA part for your Tank, now that Big has it. Maybe not today, but in the future you can build your own coil, I now after 2 and a half years of vaping only use tanks, where I can build my own coils. This Is Thailand, and I always fear one day not to be able to get the necessary coils any more, then its easier just to buy wire and some cotton.
