Menthol safe with Kayfun plastic tank piece?

Just wondering if anyone has had any problems/experience with the Kayfun tank's plastic center-piece when using menthol juices. Extreme Ice is the juice I'm planning to try.

 

When in doubt use the SS piece.

 

Yeah, that's what I've been doing. But the clear piece makes it look so much better, and of course it's nice to know when the juice is getting low. I do find this Kayfun really burns through the juice quickly. Plenty of Kayfun users around here, so I'm hoping to get some first hand accounts.

With the quality of the Kayfuns, I'm surprised that the clear piece is plastic to begin with. Most everything else about it is spot on - why not make them with glass tanks?

 

I like the clear also. There must be a Pyrex aftermarket tank somewhere for sale. A certain shade of raspberry ate my first tank out overnight so take care.

I vape 10% menthol DIY juice with the plastik tank on my kayfun 3.1 clone, no problem, if fact never seen any of my tanks have problems with menthol.

Same here. I'm vaping Extreme Ice with my Kayfun Lite with no worries.

 

I don't think the menthol is a problem with plastic tanks (least I never heard of it). The problem with plastics is when you use a juice that is acidic (like citrus) or cinnamon. I have been been using plastic tanks with menthol since the days when the CE4 was the best you could get. No cracking experienced from me.
