MBV order arrived (but it is 80% wrong!)

    I was really happy that my MBV juices had arrived today and excitedly ripped the envelope open. I first noticed something was wrong when I saw that my beautiful Cinnamon Roll had +5 flavour shots added, I'd only requested +2 shots.

    Well, I have since checked the rest of my order and have seen that 4 out of the 5 bottles are wrong :(

    1)
    I ordered Cinammon Roll, +2 Shots
    I received Cinammon Roll, +5 Shots

    2)
    I ordered White Out, No Shots
    I received White Out, +2 Shots

    3)
    I ordered Absinthe, +1 Shots
    I received Absinthe, No Shots

    4)
    I ordered Banana Cream Pie, +2 Shots
    I received Banana Cream Pie +1
    Shot

    5)
    Only my Sweet Cream arrived with +2 Shots, as ordered! :)

    I have e-mailed them, but I was just wondering if any of you guys 'know' or would like to 'hazard a guess' what their reply will be.

    What I would be looking for would be something like:
    They replace and send out with no cost to you replacements
    or
    They credit you for your next order

    As far as I know we in Thailand can't send out liquids overseas by post, so you can't return them.

    A UK vendor once sent me some juice, which was the right juice but the flavour and color was very, very different to the same one I'd placed with them before. I pointed out I had asked this before I ordered the juice as I had a feeling that they'd changed it. I was told they hadn't before the order.
    It took a while but finally they sent out free of charge some of the old juice which was the flavour I wanted.
    They told me to keep the other juice for free.
    I was happy with that...

    Hey, thanks for the info. I appreciate that. I will let you know what the outcome is.

    I once made an order with GLV about $55 worth, but the parcel never arrived. I saw on the confirmation e-mail (saying that my parcel had been shipped) and noticed that they had forgotten to write Bangkok on it. Thinking it was my mistake I checked my order form but I had in fact written in. I wrote them two e-mails but they were ignored. Finally, I wrote them an e-mail saying that I was going to make a claim through the Chargeback Scheme and being 11pm in USA, I thought I wouldn't hear from them till the next day. Wrong 5 minutes later, my money had been refunded :)

    So sorry to hear about the order.

    I've heard the difference between normal absinthe and absinthe with one shot is huge...

    I don't mind helping you out and buying it off you for say.... 299 Baht.:grin:

    Well, MBV replied:

    During this last week our labeling machine has been acting up and randomly choosing a number to put in the extra flavoring shots field. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you, but our mixers are trained to refer to the printed invoice for bottle parameters. If you look at your invoice, you will see that the correct number of flavoring shots is indicated, it is simply the label that is incorrect. Your bottle was mixed to the standards as ordered online, we appreciate your patience as we work through this system bug.


    Real Shame.....I was getting all excited thinking how great it would be to be given either free juice or a refund

    Shouldn't you have noticed whether or not you had 5 extra shots in your cinnamon roll?

    Having said that, how do you know or they know whether the bottles had been changed.

    It all sounds a bit suspect to me...

    I'd boycott them if I were you, especially now that they don't make cinnamon roll..

    Yeah, you think someone would be smart enough to tell the difference with a +5 shot of Cinnamon, right?

    I never actually tried any of the juices, just incase they wanted me to send 'em back or whatever. I have however tried it since and I am pleased to say that I am smart enough to realise that there wasn't +5 shots extra in it
    ;)

    I have since banned myself from buying any e-juice, well that is until I have vaped at least half of the 450ml of juice that I have in my drawer.
    Hmmm...now having said that the thought of no more Cinnamon Roll in my stash is starting to break me out in a cold sweat....
    ......so I may just have to let you taste Heather first and if she tastes as good as you say she does and (IF) you do put in a second order, I will go halves on shipping with you.

    PS I can't 'Boycott' MBV just yet, coz I still have to try their Snack Candy Bar (it apparently tastes like Snickers, but without the calories) Oh yeah and their prices are so damn cheap.

    If she's as good as they say she is, we can share.

    I've spoke to Grant yesterday and ordered some of this... 50ml | Grants Vanilla Custard apparently it's tastes like birds custard powder.

    I think I will have to get a clearo tank with green plastic and pretend the MBV Absinthe is green instead of ... well, you know.

    Woot Woot...I will drink to that! :beer:

    Sorry Heather love, it looks like I will be breaking my ban and getting myself some MBV Cinnamon Roll this Friday. Maybe this is the time I should go for the 236ml bottle, what with them giving 20% discount and all that.
