After hijacking a few other threads, I thought it might be good to get all the V4 bits in one thread so there easier to find.

I have 2, A Tobbeco from Big, and a FT B version. $22.39 Kayfun V4 Styled RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer - stainless steel / 23.2mm diameter at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping They both work great and Ill try to add more info later.

The are a few differences in these 2 clones,

Tobbeco, Darker engraved logo, silver spring and 510pin, squared off 510 nut.
FT B Lighter engraved logo, copper spring and 510pin, round 510 nut. The spring is ok but not as thick or strong as the Tobbeco.

    FT B

This FT one will not allow the 510 pin to be unscrewed, unless there is force on this nut to stop it rotating. So the 510 needs to be removed before stripping down.

OK latest update, K4s don't like NI200, the spring is a coil and confuses the board of the DNA40. Mine are all air flow open and liquid control open so there is an easy fix. you need to replace the spring with a tube/spacer. when the liquid control is fully open there is a small gap between the air flow control screw and the 510 pin. Its only a few mm but you need a solid contact between the two. I used an old kayfun chimney that fits tight over the center pin and connects with the 510 nut. this needs to be filed down until the build deck closes flush when you open the liquid flow. Down side of this is with a spacer and not a spring you lose conductivity as soon as you start to close the liquid flow, so you only have open and closed. This works great for me as I leave my liquid flow fully open. I still have full airflow control, so can adjust this for flavour. 20150120_123918.jpg
Note the extra tube section around the center pin is only a few mm longer than the original. I do think a very large spring may be the best fix here and not affect the dna40 readings but will have to wait for someone to find one.

No flooding at all, the liquid control still works as normal, however there's no contact electrically as soon as you start to close it so it will not read ohms or fire.

This is the same as Ive done, I just cut up a old Kayfun Chimney instead because I have a few spare ones and there a nice tight fit on the center post.

Just ordered a clone from FT.
It was a toss up between the IVOGO and Infinite/SXK but went with the infinite due to the extra o-rings it comes with.

You picked the right one rick. I have $22.73 Kayfun V4 Styled Rebuildable Tank Atomizer - stainless steel / 23.2mm diameter at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping which had fairly poor build quality and loved to leak but got that sorted now.
This one, the infinite $26.84 Infinite Kayfun V4 Styled RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer - stainless steel / 23.2mm diameter at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping was good straight from the box with what feels like much better threads and overall quality, also has a bell end ;)

Lol I have two bell ends that I bought for my orchids. All my drip tips fit too loosely. Not sure I like them or not.

I just picked up the Infinite version the other day. Ni200 build, 2.5 mm id, twisted 32 ga, rayon @ 0.13 ohm - working fantastic and with no modifications. Resistance is not jumping around any. Juice control wide open which I heard makes better contact with the 510 connection.

    Can recommend this Infinite clone.

I just got my $16 gearbest V4 (BTW guys, you really should check out their vendor forum, the cloupor mini was $19.76). Very high quality piece. I have some problems with it though. I did a dual coil set up with 10 wraps of 26Gauge Kanthal using the Kuro Koiler. Ohms came out to be about .76. However when I fire it on a mechanical, not alot of power on the coils. Like they don't look too bright. I dont know if I am doing something wrong that it doesn't get as hot as I would have wanted for a sub ohm build.
