All this time I have assumed that the Kayfun 3.1 is larger than the Lite Plus, but I'm starting to think I've been wrong about that. Can someone please explain what the difference is between the two?

I think it is bigger but only in length. Probably some other subtle differences such as drip tip shape / diameter

Apart from the filling ports I think the only difference is the length, 60 mm 3.1 and 51.5mm Lite+, and that the 3.1 has a juice catcher - for want of the correct terminology - underneath the deck, which should account for the extra length.. Both hold 4.5ml theoretically. Oh and the 3.1 has a 2 part adjustab le centre pin not available on the lite series

OK...so what is interchangeable between the two? Can I put an M thank or nano on a lite plus?

Yes, you can. They can both use the same tank sections whether it is what's included original on both, an M tank, or nano, or nano quartz.

Thanks very much everyone. This opens a lot of doors for me, as I have 3 M tanks and a nano that I thought were only compatible with a 3.1.
