1. Welcome to Thailand Vapers, an English language forum for members in Thailand and the rest of Asia to talk about vaping.
Commonly referred to as e-cigarettes, vaping is really about the use of personal vaporizers (mods) and atomizers (tanks, clearos, RBAs, RDAs, RTAs) filled with e-liquid.

Those of you who have a top refill tank, how do you fill it when you run out of juice but want to continue vaping? My attempts result in burnt taste even with a brand new atomizer... every time. What I do is turn the mod off, let the atomizer cool down, open the tank, refill it half way, close the tank, take a couple of strong draws (read somewhere it should solve my problem by creating the vacuum), let it sit for a couple of mins, then fire it and gradually increase the wattage. What do I do wrong? Cubis tank, 50/50 juice.

Brand new attomizers are more likely to have a burnt taste. it sounds like you are doing the right things, the only other recommendation i would have is to prime the coil.

Cubis factory coil very fast die. In fact the joyetech factory don't last. U have to either use TC mode or stay below 15 watts. I am trying to rebuild the cubis coil since the rba comes with it.

I simply give up on joyetech factory coil. Not good for chain vaping.

You should have the cubis rba. Use it and it definitely last longer.

I find the opposite. I don't like top fill. It puts positive pressure (Obove ambient) in the tank and floods the coil. Bottom fill the air can push through the coil.

Don't prime the Cubis coils. Just mount them and take a few cold draws. Then start with short power pulses and draws, gradually increasing to normal vaping. You will feel very clearly when coils are saturated. When mounting the top fill cap back mount it back slowly, in order to allow the air pressure to escape through that small hole on the side where the thread is.

About the factory coils and the 100 % concur. They are stuffed too tight so I believe. If you stuff tighter cracking is lesser and draw smoother, but that's the result. The RBA heads last longer because we can't stuff as tight.
