Is it just me or....

.... is the internet creeping slow as a snail. I can't get any links outside of Thailand to load. Fasttech, facebook... but here Thailandvapers.com is working perfectly fast. Is there some sort of huge attack going on across the world but not effecting thailand? ....or maybe I just need to go pay my TOT bill. I suppose I better go pay it anyway. Be back in a bit.

Yikes! I sure hope this isn't what is going on. We have TOT .... I wonder if this firewall thing is going into effect starting with TOT or maybe it's totally unrelated but something is surely slowing things down for us. Things keep timing out before you get a page. Again pages from within Thailand are great but the rest isn't usable.

 

TOT here too and it's crawling for foreign sites. Facebook won't even load. Hoping they get this fixed soon. I paid for a whole year of service, I want the speeeeed!

 

I'm using TOT also. Working fine now but was having the same problems earlier today. Must have just been a TOT problem.

As far as the "great firewall of Thailand", hopefully Thailands e-commerce business sector will convince the government that the single internet gateway controlled by the government is a bad idea.

 

Yes things finally seem to be back to normal now. It's hard to grasp just how reliant we are on the internet until it shuts down like that. IT's probably time I step back and take a look at things. Put things in their proper place by their priority.
