Watched a review the other day. Difference between this and the 30w which I own are the removal of "phone charging option which no one uses anyway and IIRC the watts can now be locked. They have still kept the slotted 510 pin which I find slightly annoying. As this is only 15 or so USD more than the 30w it kind of makes sense to get this one but, don't expect much battery life if you run at 70w.

With the way pricing is going now that kind of makes sense and I'm certainly leaning more towards dual 18650 even if at times I'm only running a KF at 15w, the battery life is great.

The one thing I hate so much about mine is I can't lock it, I have to do the 5 click off and 5 click on...
I like to be able to lock, then unlock and vape....

I understand this for people who vape above that occasionally, but since I don't need that high I'm more interested in the power available. Unfortunately it really seems like companies are putting more into higher wattages than adding more power/mah and that's a shame for both people vaping high wattages and people like me who vape at low wattages but want a long lasting battery.

You mean an easier way to lock the buttons? I keep mine in my pocket and the 5 clicks are annoying to me. A switch or something would be nice.

I would not try to drain 70w continuously from a single 18650, no matter how good the battery is to begin with...

Why would one need to drain an 18650? (I'm still new and learning)

I expect it wouldn't let you get anywhere near cut out at 70w, but if it does I wouldn't have too much concern doing so with a 20A battery.
Not that I would mind you. If I want to vape at 70w I prefer to do it on something that is designed to do more than that.

When I had the Sig 100 I think at around 55-60% I would have to reduce power from 60-55w and gradually decrease as the batteries drained but with the Sig 150 I can vape at 55-60w for much longer*

Hi Rick. Why did you feel the need to do that with the Sig 100? I let it run down at my preferred watts and stay there whether they be high or low but do normally swap out the batteries when it's at about 35% or so. Just curious.

I used to get the "check battery" warning it would fire initially and then cut out
Pretty sure it was around 60% and pretty sure it was around 60w. But I may have been higher. My memory can be shit at times.

You vape yours at 60w down to 1% battery?*

*nevermind, I see you don't. But I'm sure I can vape the 150 at higher power to lower battery percentages

I hadn't seen that message and am pretty sure I have vaped at around those levels with battery level lower than 60%. Interesting and I'll have to give it another look sometime.

I usually swap out at about 35% to help maximize battery life and available recharge cycles. Sometimes I miss that target and run down lower (even to regulated mod's low voltage cut-off) but I don't let it concern me that much as batteries are pretty cheap and the majority of time all the ones I own are being swapped out at not too low levels.
