I have a few of them but never turn them on unless the wife and kids are in the house. Much prefer downloading and youtube. Off course TV can feel like a sitcom at times too ;)

Agreed, the few series I watch will be on my laptop, otherwise the TV is used for games only. It's not even connected to any channels anyway

Couldn't live without my footie (both EPL & NFL) at the weekend so I've got CTH and True dishes at the house.

As for the OP, if you've got a stable fast internet connection, there are several options available for on-line TV. My 3BB internet is reliable but it's nowhere near fast enough for live streaming of HD sporting events or movies...and work's been busy for the last couple of months so there's been no time to d/l anything.

Dragging this up from the depths as I am looking at getting telnet TV now that I have a connection that should be able to handle it. I have heard that "I like he'd TV" may be worth a go. Any more insights from anyone since this was an active thread?
