I have an IGO-L Dual Coil RDA. Does anyone have any experience with one. PB gives a mostly good review on the single coil version and the issues he had with it seem to have been addressed on the dual coil version. I've not had any luck locating a good video on the dual coil version.

Can you post a link to it? I can't seem to find it anywhere.

Youde makes the IGO-L, what you have has nothing to do with the IGO-L, although it may be one of the million versions of the Phoenix, but not one I've seen. Doesn't really matter though, it's a bog-standard dripper. I have a video on youtube of how to do a microcoil on the IGO-L, in your case all you would have to do is double it up.

Does it have two air holes? If no, don't bother dual coiling it. Don't expect much from it without drilling out the air holes, but for lower watts it should be a pretty solid RDA.

there are two version of the IGO-L my old one has only two poles but i assume you have the newer 3 pole RDA for Dual Coils,
as for wicking it any video where they show dual coils in RDA will do the trick for you :D
    RipTripper has usually good ones

rip trippers dual coil - YouTube

on a side note .... some single coils easy beat up dual setup coils imho,
ryan often builds some with twisted wires, those coils are rock solid for vaping and taste

agree 100% with Ryan - really need to drill out the tiny diameter air-hole(s) ... I did mine out to 2mm (could have gone slightly more) ... it's easy to do

single coil is fine ... pretty simple build

... but I prefer the Veritas (or even Magma) any day

It has only one hole, so I had already planned to build it with one coil. The previous owner had done the same. I'm not equipped to drill it out, so I'll just give it a try as is and see what the results are.

I built it with a 1.6 ohm silica wicked coil, configured basically the same as PB did in his video. I tested it at a variety of watts and found 8 most comfortable for me. It produces a nice big vape cloud and flavor is good, but not on par with my Kayfuns and Aquas. The draw is a bit tight, so more that usual sucking helps it, something PB eluded to in his video. It does seem like a larger air hole would improve it a bit.

I might find it useful as a juice tester. But right now I see it as an ideal tank for vaping menthol, something I don't do very often and would rather not use one of my other tanks for. It also makes it easy for me to mix a menthol with another flavor, without using up a lot of juice.

I was thinking it might be useful for experimenting with low ohm and high wattage vaping, but I suspect the air hole will need to be drilled out first.

It sits nicely on top of the MVP and even looks/feels good on a VV V3 with a Kanger beauty ring.

While they have added holes to the mounting posts, something PB complained about, his other complaint that it pops off the base too easily hasn't changed. I actually find that a plus, as you can effortlessly open it to see how much juice is left. You just don't want to pick it up by the drip tip.

I don't think I would recommend going out and purchasing one, as I know there are better drippers out there. Mine was in that big mix of stuff I purchased from Saturday, so for the price I paid its a keeper. Funny thing is he didn't list it as being included.

Yeah, you'll want adequate airflow for those builds.

On a side note, it could also be useful for you to practice wicking with cotton if you ever feel inclined to do so. RDAs are so much more convenient for learning to rebuild than tank systems.

Cotton is not my thing, but I discovered quickly that this atty is much easier to deal with at the wicking stage of the build. The most tedious part of building the Kayfuns and Aquas, for me, is getting the wicks positioned correctly. Not an issue with this dripper.

I don't find it to be a superior vape. At best its the same and often it's worse. I really like the pre-made silica wicked coils I buy from FT. It's a great fit for me.

Are you using a microcoil (gets hot in the middle first)? It's just I cannot imagine sillica tasting better than cotton if you are using a microcoil. Just asking.
