Help Help I need a spring.

    I have been trying to repair a few mods, and had some magnets broken. I'm not so good with magnets, and therefore I need a little help. If someone should have a spare spring or 2, I would be happy to receive them. Some of you might have modified a few mods from string to magnets like the Nemesis or the Stringray, so if you have a spring or 2 to spare please PM me.

    The copper wire inside coaxial cable apparently makes an excellent spring for a mechanical mod.

    I tried making a spring for a mod using standard TV coaxial cable--far, far too stiff.

    That is, with the copper center wire of the coax--sorry, slow today...

    Yes Jon, I'm just no good with magnets they look so strong when i work with them, and then magically they just crack :cry:

    I got an old K100 that i don't use anymore. Just opened it and saw that there is a spring inside.

    Will ship you the K100 if you are willing to disassemble it yourself Dieter :)

    I'm always a bit sorry, doing a thing like this, because the k100 is still a very fine mod for the right person. I can disassemble it myself..I only have problems handling magnets :).


    Let me think about this. I spend a little to much money already, but i will think about it. Thanks.
