Commonly referred to as e-cigarettes, vaping is really about the use of personal vaporizers (mods) and atomizers (tanks, clearos, RBAs, RDAs, RTAs) filled with e-liquid.

    Welcome to the forum.

This is a very friendly place for people just starting out in Vaping and feel free to ask questions. We all remember being new and not understanding the terminology associated with this.

What are you using at the moment?

Welcome aboard. I'm just starting my third month and loving it. You've come to the right place, and Micky's shop is excellent. Be prepared to spent some cash finding juices you like (you can always sell the one's you don't) and of course all the other knick knacks. For me at least, vaping is more expensive than smoking was, but that's largely because i'm a fussy sod with a penchant for new gizmos.
If i was on a budget i'd probably stick with Aspire clearos and Mt Baker Juices but you'll probably find like most of us that you soon spend rather more than intended, often on things you don't really need. Good luck and have fun!

I really want to order some ejuice from mickey but i head off on holiday on Sunday. I am not sure i will get it in time. Does anyone know if there is a problem taking ejuice with you in your luggage when traveling on the plane? I gather it would have to be in the luggage that goes in the hold.

You're fine travelling with it, as long as you aren't going to a country where it is restricted. Same rules apply as any other liquid in a carry-on. I usually just check mine.

how long are you in Bangkok? normally micky will have your stuff to you in 48hrs. if you plan in advance, i am sure he could mail it to your hotel or wherever so its waiting for you when you get there.

i agree with this for when your just starting out. my first few months i was going through a lot more cash then when i was smoking. now that i have a setup i like i dont spend nearly as much. come to think of it, i havent made a single purchase in more than a month and that was only a few hundred baht dripper. i think once you find what you like there is no need to spend any more............but it is always fun getting new vape mail

I went a bit mad during my first few weeks. Something like 5 mods plus chargers batteries and a ton of juice.

Now very laid back. The odd juice order and maybe a coil head or 2. I could sell some of the juices I have tried and not liked but sometimes you need to get back to them and give them another go.

No doubt i will be spending a lot of money too. I bought the Ovale eCom and i am not overly impressed with it but that could be the ejuice. So far i have only been able to get Ovale ejuice and it could be that which is lacking flavour. The kit I originally bought was unbranded and consisted of 2 batteries, 2 clearomisers and cost me 650bht. Strangely enough i get a better flavour off them than the eCom.

The best thing a beginner can do is buy a good mod plus some quality juice first up. Save a lot of cash on trial and error. I'm very happy with the stuff from innokin. Very good bang for buck. Juice wise I quickly shied away from the cheap stuff although I found it provided a satisfying TH early on. Maybe the mix. Happy vaping!

The Ovale is not a waste. Even when you move on to the next mod, you will always need backup. Most vapers have 5 or 10 "backups" after a while. Good luck with it.
