The Heatvape Kayfun 3.1 and Mini V2.1 were sent to me from 3Avape:

    Heatvape Kayfun 3.1 - $17.50 : 3Avape, Wholesale & Retail

    Heatvape Kayfun Mini V2.1 - $21.50 : 3Avape, Wholesale & Retail

One of the first things is how nice the boxes are from Heatvape

    photo 2.JPG photo 3.JPG

    First up the:
    Heatvape Kayfun 3.1
Features: Dual coil or single coil
    -Constructed from solid stainless steel
    -Rebuildable Tank Atomizer
    -Juice Capacity 4.5ml
    -Adjustable Airflow
    -Reduced Atomizing Chamber
-Simple to Rebuild -Integrated Drip tip and 510 Drip tip Adaptor
    -Overflow Collection Cup -
Available Finish Options Polished Stainless Steel(Delta) Brushed and Matte(Beta)
-Includes 510 Drip Tip Adaptor , Spare Post Screws , Spare O-Rings
    -Diameter 22mm
It comes with 1x Kayfun 3.1 atomizer 1x replacement plastic tube 1x pack of wick 1x pack of rubber seal rings, post screws and a steel ring 1x screwdriver 1x 10ml semi-transparent empty bottle with needle tip

Very well made bit of kit, comes with lots of extra stuff.
Has a bigish HeatVape logo on the side though, not a huge fan of that

    photo 4.JPG

Striped it down, all comes apart nicely, but the center plastic tube isn't great with its threads, possible problems there I think if you're unscrewing it a lot.

    photo 5.JPG photo 1.JPG photo 2.JPG

It's a side fill with an adjustable airflow.
I don't use the side fill as i just top fill

Got it sat on my rDNA 30 and a mech mod

    photo 3.JPG photo 4 copy.JPG

    Overall a typical KayFun vape.
Well made apart from the plastic center tube which i mentioned.
It comes in a few colors as in on 3Avpe.

A big thanks to 3avpae.com for sending me this
I will be putting it up in a GiveAway very soon for a member to get the chance to win it.

    The Heatvape Kayfun Mini V2.1;

    Heatvape Kayfun Mini V2.1 - $21.50 : 3Avape, Wholesale & Retail

    Basic Information:
    Depth: 14MM
    Height: 87.6MM
    Width: 14MM
    Capacity:3.0ml

    Features:
1, Airflow control and airhole on side
    2, Clear window section
    3, Universal drip tip connection

    It comes with

1x Kayfun Mini V2.1 Rebuildable Atomizer (replica)

    1x plastic tube

    1x screwdriver

    1x decorative ring

1x 10ml empty plastic dropper bottle

1x long cap of the evaporation chamber

    3x spare post screw

    6x spare O-ring

7x heating wire /wick(5 pcs short and 2 pcs long)

Again, a great presentation box and a lot of extra stuff with it

    photo 1.JPG photo 5.JPG

This is just the same as the KayFun 3.1 but in a smaller version
It is very well made and has all the tubes for different sizes.
I like to see my juice so I like to use the clear plastic tube on the bottom as per the picture

    Stripped it down:
    photo 2.JPG photo 3.JPG

Easy to build really, just the same as any KayFun
The fill hole on the side again with adjustable airflow there too
I tend to fill from the top, but there's not a lot of room so a little difficult but ok.
Also I found thicker VG juices too much for this, a 50/50 pg/vg is fine, or even then higher PG.

Top filling always keep your finger over the air hole, screw the top back up, flip upside down, keeping your finger over the air hole , tighten up the top can while upside, flip back over and take off your finger..

On my DNA 30 and mech mod

    photo 5 copy.JPG photo 4.JPG

Overall very nice but just too small for me.

Thanks for 3avape.com for sedning me this
As always I will be Giving it away very soon for a member to have the chance to win it

-V- did you try a spare mid section center plastic tube) on it to see if it works / fits better with it?

I received 2 KF3.1 which I ordered from 3avape, arrived a couple of days ago but just had a chance to build this evening.
Cleaned both thoroughly in soapy water, dried them off and decided to build SS first as I had a new SS Nemesis waiting to go on it. Fairly normal build for me, 28 AWG Kanthal @ 1.2 Ohms. Swapped spring for magnet on nemmy switch, fitted hybrid adapter, added GLV 555 and happy days....

Now the black 3.1. I couldn't get the base off ( drip tray?) before cleaning as it was so tight but no big deal really. Did my normal build, using my ohm meter I got a reading of 5+ OHMS. Check screws are tight, coill not touching deck etc and still the same. Umm, need to get the bottom off for a look but impossible, cannot even adjust 510 connection. Try another coil, still the same.... Any ideas folks?

You need to get that 510 screw off first. It may be hard but it'll come eventually.

Cheers ryan, got it off but no issue there, postive post pin is tight and hasn't moved the positive post so thats fine. Just put about 20mm of 28 awg across build deck to do quick check again and it's reading 4.64 OHms. Something seriously wrong there and I don't have a clue!!

Unscrew the stem completely so the positive part of the build deck pops off and check the threading. Is it painted?

This is like watching your youtube video!! Yes, postive screw completely out, post out, insulator off and it's painted black under insulator.

Damn, just looked at the photos V posted, the 510 threading is painted. Paint isn't conductive. Get some steel wool or a wire brush and scrub it off.
    **Updated**
Under the insulator doesn't matter, just the threads where you need conductivity. Should be metal on metal from the 510 to the build deck.

510 to build deck in metal to metal ryan. Fairly lose threading but not overly so. I'll play around with it before bed and report back if any luck. Thanks a lot.

You're a star Ryan. Got a little of the paint off and ohms are dropping right down now. Not perfect yet but will do it properly tomorrow when I can get my hands on a proper wire brush. Thank you very much sir :thank you thank you:
