Hana Modz Clone stopped charging

    i am wonder if i am the only one facing this issue, my DNA30 Clone stopped being able to be chargeable over the micro usb, replacing the batteries still work
    but the charging via usb just dont work anymore, i tried from different usb s and differeenct cables all the same, so i assume its the HMClone which doesnt allow the charging, anyone else?

    This is the second one biting the dust recently. Till now every thing with mine is going fine except the usual, like it switching on by itself. But reading all this is not comforting as I have already ordered one more with Big in his third pre order.

    I don't tend to charge that often via the USB, unless at work and it needs charging.
    One battery gets me through the day, so at night is whip out the dying battery and pop in a freshly charged one, then put the other one on charge.
    I must say mine is working great....

    I've been reading over on a UK vaping Forum there have been many problems with these clones, just this last week the manufacturer has started sending out ones which are said to have fixed many of the issues, and the charging issue was one of them. There have been ones catching fire and all sorts from reading about. There's no way I would leave mine charging with the USB if I wasn't sat there next to it at all times...

    I guess no of us want to pay the 'real' money for these DNA 30 devices so we love the clones, but just remember these are some Chinese guys playing with out lives at the end of the day. I am really looking into the real DA 30 box mods, and you're looking at around 7,000 thb but maybe worth it in the long run....

    Okay I got the answer here for the question I asked you in the other thread Vape. Thanks. As far as spending 7000 for a genuine one wont be that big a problem. The point is where do I get one? Had the chance to buy vapor shark but I am not too convinced about the battery. Would like to buy one with re changeable 18650 battery. Makes it so much more convenient.

    Checked the sites you mentioned. Seem complicated. I wonder why no regular companies which make these things aren't stepping forward to make the original DNA 30? Where we can see the mod and buy it directly instead of all this ridiculous ordering and then waiting?

    Yep, that's what Hana did and they ended up with all these clones..lol...
    For the cost of a real DNA 30 board I am surprised some Chinese guy doesn't order a suitcase full of them and then knock out a load of cheap box mods but with real boards in them....

    I would be surprised if Innokin actually do that as its a big cut into the profits if they have to buy a real board. I would not be surprised however if they design and sell their own 30+w chip mod.

    Back to the subject at hand i guess the USB charging board is kaput or a broken solder joint or wire. Bit of a shame for the guy that gets a bad one but we all know these things ain't going to be perfect. At least not yet anyway.

    Actually it might have been the sx350 chip;
    Products-sx350,Yihi SX350,Intelligent Vapor Chip,dna30 30W chip,SX350 35W chip Manufacturers & Suppliers - Dongguan Yihi Electronic Co.,Limited

    I think Innolin buy their chips rather than make them for their mods...

    i doubt any bigger company would buy the DNA30, after all for that tiny piece of electronics 50 Dollars seems quite a lot for me, if you put that in box you will still end up paying 150-200 and my guess its not a huge difference to the real hana modz deal.

    I have to admit that since i am having those boxes, i almost never touched my Nemis, i ll do only the 2 boxes and the provari from time to time.

    what i am really looking foward is a box where i can pop in a 18650 battery like most digital still cameras lock their battery compartment,

    I'm getting my DNA30 clone in a day or so ... don't have a Nitecore or eFest charger (yet) ... so starting off with the brand new Sony VTC5 battery (18650 2600mAh) using the supplied USB charger, approx how long will it take to charge 'em fully up normally ?

    * btw, hope you get your USB charging sorted soon Oil
