1. Welcome to Thailand Vapers, an English language forum for members in Thailand and the rest of Asia to talk about vaping.
Commonly referred to as e-cigarettes, vaping is really about the use of personal vaporizers (mods) and atomizers (tanks, clearos, RBAs, RDAs, RTAs) filled with e-liquid.

For those who have not read previous rants about the shop DAISO (found all over Bangkok and in other cities as well - click HERE for locations), they have been placed far down on the list of places to be eventually destroyed and therefore have earned endorsement.

Lots of goodness to be found for the DIY'er type. This post features just one thing found there and worth mentioning.

Problem: near your keyboard or other workspace, you keep a tube mod standing up for immediate access despite the horrible thud produced each time it is inevitably knocked over.

    And / or -

Problem: the minuscule amount of effort to unlock the button on tube mods that must be locked when standing straight up is just too much for you to endure any longer.

    Solution:

This pole catch mounts to the wall or other vertical surface with an adhesive pad half of which is pre installed on the back of the catch. Clean the surface you wish to stick to with alcohol, stick it and then do not use for a good long while (a couple of hours?) for best results.

The pole catch easily supports the heaviest of mods without fail. Experience has proven this guy will hold a mod indefinitely for weeks on end and shows no sign of slippage any time soon.

Now you can reclaim all those lost seconds twisting the bottom of your mod and / or moving a step or two in some direction to retrieve it.

    Cheers.

I wouldn't want to chance it...the possibilities for an 'unplanned' release are myriad (and you'd be really p*ssed off if it happened in BKK traffic in the rain)!

I was thinking under the seat, inside the trunk. Outside it will indeed be a mod suicide lol

^^^ That might work...but I'd be worried about the adhesive on the tape. After a few days in the heat and bumping over the uneven BKK pavement, I'd bet it will lose its desire to stay attached. If you could get your hands on some double-sided tape used in the automotive industry, it might have a better chance of staying secured.

Found a gazillion ants in my bike this morning. They had found the doggy treats I occasionally toss to the stray dogs around here.
Glad I never had a mod and atty in there.

    Carry on ;)

Been there a few times now.... Why is it we never figure it out until we're moving at a good clip down the highway?

Important public service message regarding Daiso stores in Thailand***************

The following disclaimer must be included on all posts advocating that a forum member visit these stores:

BE WARNED! The muzak pumped into every Daiso store location in Thailand was composed and produced during the darkest days of WW II by the most nefarious researchers in Japan's advanced psychic warfare development effort. Make no mistake: listening to the audio over public address in a Daiso store is extremely hazardous to your mental health as it was specifically engineered to drive you insane.

Earplugs are strongly encouraged or if not, it is extremely cautioned to limit exposure to under 10 minutes.

    End disclaimer.***
