So i have had zero luck with drippers.
I'd still love to get into them so looking for advice on which one
I want one which is good, works well, easy to build a single coil with and looks nice.

Also a good drip tip to go with it as i think the drip tip plays an important part with drippers...

I've tried a few, my favourite so far has been ye olde Tobh but was several weeks before i came around to it. There are other newer drippers similar to it such as the Mutation X and Vulcan I haven't tried either yet but will have by this time next week.

    *Simple build
*Decent airflow if needed but not ridiculous amounts
    *O-ring top cap*
    *Decent flavour**
    *Chucks clouds**

*The o-ring top cap is a prerequisite for me on a dripper now. You can drip directly through the drip tip but I like to be more precise than dumping a load over the positive post. With rayon or japanese cotton I can vape it almost dry and then add 20+ drops, have a couple of puffs and then happily place it in my pocket without leakage as the wick is holding all the juice. I have found that with screw tops, as soon as you unscrew them and the afc moves you get juice appearing. Zenith and Magma spring to mind.

**For flavour and clouds there are better options. Clouds are not important to me but seem to be a byproduct of how I like to vape. The Magma has better flavour but is a screw top and leaks. The Veritas also has better flavour but the build is slightly tedious and I don't particularly like how it vapes, I need to use it more to give a better opinion of it.

For ease of build, good enough airflow down to .2ish, subjest to your own personal preferences, ability to take thicker wire and single coil option I would go with a Mosfet. If you don't mind dual airflow on a single coil then the Plumeveil, although the airflow can be a lititle touchy until you work it out. Another one to consider would also be a brass monkey or Mutation X.

As for drip tips, I personally don't use special drip tips, just something with a wide er bore than the tank tips usually have, easily available from big or Micky from what I see on their site. I only go to specialised drip tips below 0.15 ohms. Mainly to help increase the airflow to cool the coils and keep vape temperature down.

Hopefully though you will get plenty of contradictory suggestions to this as there are so many variables involved that you need to be well informed to get the right one for you. These are just my personal preferences.

I got the TOBH V2 and just bought a Plume Veil 2 days ago....My friend also has the Omega and Patriot.

    1) Scratch Patriot off your list.

    2) Omega is a step up from Patriot, not bad for a cheapy dripper, but there are better. But redripping is annoying since there is no top piece. eg; messy to redrip.

    3) TOBH is simple and consistent, very good...the top cap is beveled for good air flow. Tip not included. The base has 2 o-rings at the bottom, but machining of the middle section that slips over the base where the oring seals will not allow full closure, i had to remove the bottom oring to press the middle section all the way down, with 1 oring it doesnt leak...but the orings get chewed up and have to be replaced periodically if you change cotton frequently. It may vary between machined pieces. Top cap oring is a bit loose, i put a slightly thicker one in.

    4) Plume Veil is also very good, it can be made to hit very similarly like the TOBH if you close everything except the main air inlet in the middle ....then you can adds LOTS more air, if you like quick airy draws by adjusting the other inlets. Plume has a rippling feeling when taking a hit.
Plume has a stronger nic hit than TOBH for sure. Its a head spinner. :unbelievable:Machining is spot on , not too tight, not too loose.

3.5mm hole...10 turns...0.40mm wire on the TOBH and Plume ive been using....at 11 turns both become extremely smooth and soft

I find myself tuning the Plume to hit like the TOBH. But i prefer more smoke with less draw. Plume is a juice whore with my coils and the stronger nic hits make me limit myself before i start spinning.

If you have obsessive compulsive disorder the Plume will mess with your head.:yes or no:

I honestly dont know which one i like better. :chinrub:

I bought the Plume Veil from Big and it is my favorite dripper.

I also bought a Magma from him and I had no problems with the screw top regarding juice leakage. The Magma is easier to set up for a single coil and can easily handle 24 gauge wire.

I keep looking for a Plume Veil but never thought of checking Big, the ones on FT have seemed to be generally not very good. I'll take a look at Big's.

I started out with a APO from Big's recommendation and I am using it all the time. Very easy to build single or dual coils and nice adjustable airflow. It's cheap but well made with only one o-ring. I never had a leak and still use the original o-ring. Also, I use it on a mech mod so no worries about pesky electronic adjustments. Just make sure the coil resistance is within limits of the battery capabilities. I found that flavour, cloud and hit depends on the coils. My preference is dual coils at 0.8 ohm with 28 gauge Kanthal.

I bought a Veritas after reading all the hype about it but find it difficult to build a decent working coil or coils.

I started with a Storm A which I think is really great and 1 of 2 of my all day vapes, for higher watts and air flow the mephesto is good too. the mephesto is a lot easier to coil and has a wider range of air flow, but the Storm A is sill my all day vape. i have a Magma too which is a good performer when drilled out to 2.5mm plus and has a screw down top cap, delivered from ft its too tight and too hot. With the coming changes with the dna40 it may be time to wait to make this move, space inside the RDA for larger dia coils may be an issue with the Storm A or the Magma, not a problem for the mephesto though.

It still depends what you like to vape, wattage, airflow, flavour, for me 20-30 watts is great and i need a Storm A at medium to max or a Mephesto at about 2x 2.5m, minimum, but thats duel coils. Both will do single coils fine. same with the Magma 2x 2.5 m. This is a flavour recommendation and not clouds, however all these at 20-30watts do produce great clouds.

At the price of a Storm A its hard to beat and I always do horizontal coils above the screws as Ryan showed in previous posts. takes a little getting used to but easy after a while.

Most of my extremely easy to build ones are gone....Among them though I was pretty happy with the Zenith. I have a Vertex which is pretty nice and easy to build on...good flavor too. When it comes to flavor amongst those I have owned, the Plumeveil and the Veritas (Not such an easy build but easier than many make out) have been tops. Plumeveil negatives with many folks is juice seepage from negative post holes but for me has not been a big problem being familiar with juice well capacity and overall atty handling. For airflow and big clouds, also decent flavor when AFC holes are closed down, is the Mutation X. Usually find the MX is a cooler vape than the other mentioned here (@ same resistance range and even w/AFC closed down some) and flavor not as "rich" for me as the PV or Veritas.
