1. Welcome to Thailand Vapers, an English language forum for members in Thailand and the rest of Asia to talk about vaping.
Commonly referred to as e-cigarettes, vaping is really about the use of personal vaporizers (mods) and atomizers (tanks, clearos, RBAs, RDAs, RTAs) filled with e-liquid.

I've been tyryng to place an order with Goodlife for a few days now, but they always reject my credit card. It's a Visa card issued by a US bank, and I'm shipping to a US address, although the billing address is Thailand, where I live. I've contacted my bank, who pre-authorized a charge by Goodlife, and sent a couple of e-mails to Goodlife explaining the situation, but they keep replying with comments like "contact your bank". While waiting, I placed an order with Highbrow which went through without a hitch. Any suggestions?

    Thank you.

Many times the Credit card billing address and the shipping address MUST be exactly the same for the card providor to accept the payment. Not a problem with GLV I would have thought, but with the company providing the credit card processing.

I can order fine with GLV (Thai card / Thai address) but not with MBV. Pretty sure it's their system at fault because never had an issue anywhere else.

For fraud prevention, often the payment gateway will compare your IP address with either your shipping address, credit card billing address, or both. They can also choose to deny transactions from IP addresses in certain countries (like in the case of MBV). It's helpful to have a US VPN when placing orders with US companies, as usually that'll be all you need to have the transaction approved, even if you're shipping stuff here.
