Same here… but decided for the smaller version – Dani Extreme V2 "L" (104mm).
A single 18650 (up to 40W / 12V / 15A) will do it for me, don’t really need the ability to stack batteries as possible with the 2380.
No spring loaded center pin doesn’t bother me either – what doesn’t fit, has to stay on my "disposable" Mods. :)

BTW and kind of off topic:
I was also looking for a nice new topper for the Dani and finally found the GG Tilemahos V2.
This one is extremely well designed but not too easy to obtain…

I guess Todd doesn't have a lot of experience with German engineers...I've worked with them for many years. They can be quite meticulous.

Great choice!! I was really tempted by the Dani Extreme, too, but in the end, I went for the 2380, not really for the stackable batteries but for the ability to use it with all 3 battery sizes. Would like to hear if you have any issues with the fixed center pin...still haven't ruled one out completely. :)

For all you fans of German engineering, I seem to have ended up with 2 of the Dicodes 2380's (it's a long story). If all goes as planned, they will arrive here in the middle of the month (or so).
IF you're interested in becoming the proud owner of one (and this is one fine mod), PM me for further details.

How are you guys getting on with it then?

Still got mine here and have the odd play with it but pretty much stick by everything I said in the review.

Still can not fault the build quality of the thing, it's a tank :D

Finally broke mine out last night and played with it a bit...it is a tank, no doubt about that...but a very lovely, well-built tank that I'm glad I bought.

Had to watch a video to get to the menu (they forgot to put that in the User's Manual) but after setting the watts, that's all that's needed. It feels solid in the hand and vapes like a dream.

The V2 will definitely be my next buy (after my Thailand trip next month :) ).
I'm using the extreme S for well over a year now and it's still my best device. Superb quality,
The new one will be the V2 M-size with an extension cap. So it keeps size at a lower level and can still use the 18650.

Links to User Manuals in the OP have been updated. Dicodes revised the temperature coefficient of Titanium to 350 (from 520).

Cross link to PB's review of the Pipeline Pro 2: The Pipeline Pro 2 | Thailand Vapers

Pipeline Pro 2 and the Dicodes 2380/Dani Extreme are all made by Dicodes and are very similar (but not identical).

Bought a Dani Extreme (comparable with the Pipeline Pro) during my visit to Germany last month.

I must say I’m totally thrilled and using the Mod almost exclusively since then – leaving my other devices (mainly iSticks) untouched on the shelf.

And yes, the one button operation can get kind of frustrating in the beginning but you get used to it after a while.

I’m only using it in TC-Mode with NiFe30 (dicodes “Resisterm”) or titanium wire. Missing out Ni200 altogether – don’t like the ultra-low resistance you get with pure nickel…

I got mine from Greek Mods as well – together with the tube.

In the near future zivipf.com might become a good option.
There was no mention of NiFe30 when I left to Germany last month – now it’s listed as “coming soon”.

    What I like about zivipf:
They have about everything when it comes to resistance wires.
Prices are low – they even deduct the 19% Vat when shipping outside the EU.
Shipping is fast – about one week to Thailand. (shipping charge: 5 EUR ≈ 200 THB)

I find Zivipf to be the best supplier (of wire, mesh etc) too. Really quick service, and he only sells the best stuff he can find.
