Just received today and it's better than I hoped for.

First thing that struck me was the weight which makes it seem so solid in quality. When breaking it down for a quick cleaning, I found the quality of the threadings are excellent. It's one of the very best-built tanks I have ever run across.

Only issue I had was that the air flow control ring was way too loose and I feared I'd have to send it back. Well, what I think happened is that it was installed upside-down so the o-ring for it wasn't providing resistance. I flipped it over and it's perfect.

Building was a breeze and the vape is excellent. Very flavorful and nice density of vapor. Really very good, IMO.

As for airflow, here are estimates. Note that wicking and coil placement may be a factor.

    - Compared to subtank mini with the single air slot (the original version), the airflow is a little more open than its 2 hole setting and 15% to 20% or so less open than its widest open setting.

    - Compared to a Zephyrus wide-open, it's about 33% less open.

    - Compared to a KF4 with subohm kit, its about 25% to 33% more open.

I like both restricted and wide open vaping and this is a nice medium.

    Just ordered a 2nd one!

I think Phil was talking about his 'billow' on oneof his recent videos and stating that it was one of the best he'd used.
Where did you get it and how much was it, Scratchy?

Hi FL. I got it from a Facebook vendor and if I recall correctly cost 1150. There's another well-known local vendor now carrying it. I'll send you a pm to avoid naming here. Actually, @Siam Diesel and @Rick O-Shea is it ok to name here? It's been a while since I named a vendor outside members only sub forum.

Been vaping it all night and this is looking like it may end up fitting right alongside the KV4 as a favorite tank of mine at the moment. The zephyrus is right up there too and the subtank is slipping some in line but will definitely remain in rotation. The goblin is shelved for now to make room.

If this Billow V2 had top fill it would be absolutely killer good!

is ecighealthy a reliable vendor and is he based in LOS?
I'm asking because I've seen a lot of great vaping gear, but was put off because I thought he was based in China and shipping times would be equally as long as other Chinese vendors.

A good percentage of my stuff has been purchased from them and while there have been communication challenges with other members ordering from there (the owner speaks only a little English) and a couple of mix-ups, they'll do the right thing in fixing. Personally, I have never had any problems despite all I have purchased. They are based in Bangkok so you would typically receive anything ordered within a few business days. When I lived in Bangkok, I stopped by the shop probably at least once every couple weeks.

Thanks @Scratchy and that's a big bottle of Vanilla Custard !

However I cannot concentrate on anything else than the statue on top of your amplifier. She's very...inviting.

I knew your eyes would gravitate toward that! I love that piece though always feel a little embarrassed about it when a lady comes a visiting. Much more aesthetically pleasing than any vaping device!

I really like the Vanilla Custard lots. Arranging a new purchase now before VM thinks the suggestion by @ThaiVaper is a good one, leaves Thailand and then jacks up his cost! He-he

OK, I got my second copy today and have been using it a while. Only difference from the first copy is that the airflow control ring was not loose.

Another slight negative is that the post screws can more easily loosen-up/back-out while working on the coils compared to other attys. I sort of thought that on my first copy and today noticed it again on the second copy. Just have to make sure they're tight before finishing up and they should be fine.

Finally, as much as I love the Zephyrus, I'm really digging on the flavor this tank produces in comparison. Not a huge difference but seems a little more saturated. This is not a one to one comparison same juice and same type of coils so take it with a grain of salt.

Absolutely no wicking issues with either copy I have. Just did a sort of standard dual coil wicking with length to reach into the upper, widened channel slots then cut to a small V shape and made sure it wasn't packed in too tightly...actually thinned the ends out just a little so there would be some room for juice to travel up a little more easily.

1st copy has a 0.5 ohm build 28g kanthal with Fiber Freaks #2 (yep I tried it out finally) and 2nd copy with organic cotton @ 0.4 ohm with 26g kanthal. Next time I build on one I'll do TC coils.

Finally, this tank could end up being my favorite among all my RTAs. It's just fantastic.

Are you using the same wicking method as on the Zephyrus ?

Because of the top of the juice channels cut-outs/shelves design I decided to try the standard way and it worked perfect right from the get go on both copies I have. I'd recommend the standard way as a start.

Have to be careful not to seal off the channels too much and conversely, not have too little as it could gurgle or flood. More difficult to flood because of the raised air flow openings beneath the coil.

Been running VM VG variety juices and nothing even close to a dry hit, even when testing with chain vaping.
