So I have a few mods on the way, and I am assuming they come without batteries.

    Innokin iTaste VTR
    Sigelei TMAX V5 VV/VW
    Innokin iTaste SVD

Will the Sony VCT5 18650 2600 mAh work in all of them?

yep and its prolly the the smartest battery decission for the future as well,
depending on the price you might be able to get ahold of it, the formr model the VTC4 with 2100 mAh, costs often half the price of the VTC5 and is besides the 500 mAh less same good and in some tests even better

Looking at photos I was thinking that was either for a spare battery or bottle of juice.

Yeah, the Sony VTC5 is the best battery you can buy at this point. I have two that I did preorders on. Now they're kind of difficult to get because everyone buys them. It's good because it is safe to 30amps, and has 2600 mAh. THe Effest purple supposedly gives 2600 mAh too, but my real world experience is the Sony lasts longer. Even the VTC4 is a good enough battery. It has 500 less mAh but same max discharge, cheaper and easier to get at the moment.

Doesn't look like any of our local vendors have the VTC4 with 2100 mAh it in stock.
