1. Welcome to Thailand Vapers, an English language forum for members in Thailand and the rest of Asia to talk about vaping.
    Commonly referred to as e-cigarettes, vaping is really about the use of personal vaporizers (mods) and atomizers (tanks, clearos, RBAs, RDAs, RTAs) filled with e-liquid.
    Are you looking to get started or an old hand at vaping? Everyone is welcome here so sign up today and talk vaping with us!

And another one bites the dust!

    i hate to say it, but the companies selling these products need to do a better job of informing people on battery safety.

    i was lucky, before i started upgrading i had this forum and some great guidance. now every time i help someone get into vaping i preach the importance of battery safety.

    most of the shops i have visited are starting to wake up to this and do a better job. BUT, many people are going online and just purchasing with minimal research.

    this could become the biggest hurdle if more is not done.

    The car seems to be peacefully parked at the door. Was she sitting inside and shortening the battery? :)

    Great job on reporting. The camera work is incredible. I am in awe of the informative story coupled with the excellent footage. I can see the time and effort that went into the making of this Pulitzer Prize caliber report.

    @6and9er

    it is not where you buy, its important to buy quality products and learn how to properly use them. it is very easy to make a battery short (explode/vent). This is why on your other thread many of us were recommending using a regulated devise. regulated devises have built in protection. this does not garantee safety, but greatly increases it.

    there are many possible explanations. the most probable is that the person put too much stress on the battery (too low ohm/cheap battery) on a mech.

    Not sure but it can also be caused by fake name batteries, phones are very common.

    All Duracell batteries in Cambodia are fake.

    So buying from a good company is very important

    Absolutely. I am less than 6 month into it, but to me it appears the entire industry has gotten into something wrong. Don't want to stirr the pot again, but I personally do not wonder anymore why all these regulations and restrictions pop up everywhere.

    I think there was a typo in the story. If you reread it and substitute the word "Naples" with the word "nipples", it all makes perfect sense.
