An experience as a tourist ordering new gear and flying

Just wanted to throw an experience in here for any tourists coming to Thailand who might experience something like we did!

Knew vaping was illegal and so left our mod at home (USA), but brought a Juul that we figured would be easy to get into the airports.

First visited Malaysia and had no problems, but Juul isn't a popular brand here yet so we couldn't find refills. And we stupidly didn't pack enough.

Flew into Don Mueang with no problems at all. We didn't even see any signs about ecigs, although there's a chance we just missed them. Did not have our bags scanned as we left the airport.

Didn't vape publicly in Bangkok and did not see anyone doing it. And then we ran out of refills for our Juul!

We spent a lot of time on this forum and searching the internet and finally decided to try DNAvapors because they had really good communication with us. Some of the vendors we found seemed to be out of stock/closing down business, but these guys still had plenty of options on their website.

Coming from the USA we were very confused when they asked us to make a payment by depositing money into a bank account. (PayPal and Venmo are what we would use at home.) For other tourists who might be willing to risk doing all of this, you just go to the bank and deposit the money into an ATM-like machine after punching in the account number, and then we sent a copy of our receipt to the vendor.

In between all this we flew out of the Chiang Mai airport and passed through security with no problems carrying the empty Juul, which is so tiny it could easily look like a USB memory stick. We saw no signs about ecigs except at the gate for the airplane reminding us that they can't be used on the plane.

Our package shipped same day and two days later, was delivered to our hotel. We now have a new device (nothing fancy, just the Aspire Breeze which is all-in-one and compact) and two bottles of pretty tasty juice! The packaging is discreet. We are very pleased!

Not sure if any of this experience might help another tourist in a bind but wanted to put it on this forum where there are so many helpful people!

Have been using the service of some online Wenders before, but now im sorry to say, i stay the hell out of Thailand, since i need My vape to My coffee, beers and after dinner.. I hope the laws change, coz i need a vacation in the lovley Thailand
