A week of discovery, frustration and euphoria

    About a month ago I pulled the trigger on an iStick 40w TC from Cvapor and was hoping that it would be in my hand for me to play with during my holiday which started last week. Needless to say, it didn't and hasn't arrived yet and it's still stuck in the Netherlands sorting office (I think htey had a strike there last week).

    For the past week I've been spending my days on the vaping websites looking for the best TC Box mod to get. The Snowwolf was at the top of my list, but it's a bit too big and hefty, so I decided to wait and get the Sigelei 75w. While many vendors in the USA were selling it, it was still unavailable here and the shipping date has become further and further away. The latest estimate is August 15. I guess we will be lucky if we see it in September.

    Micky was supposed to have some TC mods arriving, but the customs chaps are giving him hassle and I'm hearing the same story from Jimmy and Big.

    Yesterday, to my surprise I was contacted by May (Jimmy's better half) and she asked me if I was interested in this for 5,000 Baht. esquare-dna-40.jpg

    I watched the vapinFagan review and decided to treat myself so I told her I would be there in a few hours but I would have to stop at Big's shop to get some HE4 batteries because she didn't have any.

    I arrived at big's shortly after and bought the batteries and saw this in the corner of his shop.

    It worked about about half as cheat as the Esquare, so I gave the batteries back to Big and gave him some more cash and I'm now the proud owner of an EVIC VT (I vape at around 30 watts anyway, so the PBusardo criticism of this mod doesn't really bother me).
    I love the big screen which I can read without wearing my glasses. I have just made a nickel build for my Lemo 2. I'm at 0.12 ohms at 420 F and 35 watts and loving it. Pop's Pipe tastes fantastic. The menu is really easy to use and it's nice to have a box mod in your hand that isn't cluttered with buttons or doesn't have buttons that can pushed by accident (I'm a lefty).

    Unfortumately for you guys and girls, it was the last one he had in his shop.

    I've been tempted by the E Square box mod, and for the price Jimmy is selling them for that's about the same as in the UK...
    As for the one you bought, glad you like it, but for me it doesn't do anything for me, but then again I haven't had one in my hand yet so maybe if I was stood in a shop like you I might have bought one too

    I really like the blue stripe on a white finish. Can you do a nice handcheck for us ? :)

    Glad you found something you like and the way you found it is even more enjoyable, a nice surprise I would say !

    I have an esquare from Jimmy on the way :)

    Forgot to add that main reason is dual batteries and a different look. Seems the main knock on it is some difficulty removing batteries (they give you some tape strips to help) and some don't like the feel of the fire button. I think twisted reviewed and said it felt mushy to him. I don't care if that way, as long as it is a comfortable press and works consistently.

    Would be interested in a v2 Evic VT if it ever comes out.
