    Hello guys,
I have been using my Serpent mini for couple of week, still trying to find solution.
I usually found residual juice at the connector of drip tip, sometime even found the juice flood into my mouth.
It spitting a lot compare to my previous RTA, OBS Cirus.
(I used to be a dripper before, Cirus and Serpent mini are my recently RTA experiences.)

My build is around 0.5 ohm. (spit occur on both normal coil and twist coil)
    Wicking with Watson cotton.
    Vape at 25-30w
Juice VG : PG are 50:50 and 60:40.
No burn taste found, no leak found. Only spitting.

Thanks in advance for your kind suggestion.

Ps. Sorry for my language if it make you confuse. Please let me know if any clarifications are needed. :)

I don't have this but did a bit of internet searching as I was considering getting one.
I believe you haven't quite got the wicking right. This seems to be the usual cause.
There's some YouTube videos showing the methods used.

I have this same RTA. I run a twisted 26 ga. at 0.7 ohms. Between 20-25 watts with the airflow closed way down. No spitting from my setup.

I also have this RTA and no issues with spitting. In addition to trying different wicking (ex. volume of wick inside coil, placement of wick tails or size of wick tails) you may want to try lowering the coil closer to the center air hole or if that doesn't work, try raising your coil just a little bit. Can also try a different coil setup. I hope you can get it resolved!

    Thanks you guys.
I tried some wicking method as in Youtube already, some work well but still spit and some just leak a lot through air hole.
Haven't found the sweet spot on wicking yet. Will keep trying because I actually really like this atty.

@QuestioMark. This RTA works almost perfectly fine for me except the problem I found. Honestly, I'm not quite good in wicking things.

@Scratchy could you suggest about volume of wick inside coil, should I go for thicker or thinner wick?

I would try using slightly more cotton as a first step. Enough so that the cotton passes through the coil with some resistance so it's not sliding through very easily. You should feel some resistance when pulling it through but not to the point where it is a little difficult to pull through. The cotton will expand so if you have a moderate amount of resistance when pulling through the coil it should be good. Hard to describe but you can experiment. If there's too little cotton inside the coil then there can be air gaps where juice can pool creating popping of juice.

Definitely try lowering or raising your coil if the wicking experiments don't seem to help.

You can try a different drip tip...sometimes that is all that is needed.

You can also try increasing your wattage...if your coil isn't getting hot enough to vaporize the liquid fully it may create spitback.

Finally, just a quick note that 50/50 juices may be a little more prone to spitback as they are "thinner" viscosity. I prefer a 70/30 ideally (80/20 also usually good for me) but of course some juices don't offer that and if I like a juice flavor a lot I dont worry much about it and rarely have issues.

    Thanks Scratchy

Was going to start a thread about the popping sound my atty is making (a Geekvape Ammit).
    So, not enough cotton.
Right, it's time for a rewick.
And don't be stingy with the cotton.
