A mod for the room. ...

Got my travel companion an Itaste VV V3. Thinking about what room mod to buy? Trying to figure it out. Looks won't really matter, battery life probably not a big deal also as long as it does pass through as power will be available. Suggestions welcomed.

Sounds like you already have it if your only desire is pass-through.

 

Get one of the new DNA-30 Vapor Sharks. I already pre-ordered one, should ship in a week and a half. Of course, once you move to a DNA-30, you may not want to use your iTaste anymore...

Yes, with a special charging cable. They also sell the micro-USB style. I ordered magnetic in Gunmetal with an extra charging cable.

Think your right. The DNA looks great but out of my price bracket. I like the V3 so maybe another in case this one gets dropped, lost, stolen.

Vapor Mist on Facebook has one of the USB cable mods, basically just a cable with a 510 connection on it, variable voltage something like 3-4.8v. Under 500 baht if memory serves, good if you just want it for sitting at the computer.

 

Good suggestion and I just ordered one along with some juice as Micky is out of the Itaste vv V3.

Using it may feel a bit odd to begin with as there is no real 'handle' but I'll see how I get on.

 

I did a mix around. Ordered a vtr. Not sure if that will be the room mod or the carry. Maybe the carry as the vv v3 is both drinking the battery and juice when out.

They told me that the magnetic version will be available on time on 3rd March. If that's true, I'll have mine on 14th March and Chili will have hers on 15th March.

They say that they have had to put the date back twice because their manufacturer has let them down.

How are you getting yours sent over?

 

Having it sent to my sister and having her send it to me...$70 for shipping is not happening, not when she can send it for like $10. What version did you guys order, and what color?

Chili has a thing about 'gun metal' colour ever since she joined the anti terrorist shooting club.

 

Its easy to fall into thinking you need to chase after every new thing that comes out, which is fine if you want to make this into a hobby and can afford to do so. But actually what you have is all you need to vape.

The vv v3 you have is a battery that cost about $25.00. The DNA30 is a battery that cost $170.00.
Almost 7 times as much. So will it give you 700% more vaping pleasure? My guess is no.

Certainly more powerful at 30W, but most people don’t need that much. So unless you need to go higher than 11W, in the end, they both preform the same function.

the VTR was a good choice for longer battery life. (Did you buy batteries and a charger too?) Hope that works out well for you.

(But the dna30 does look coool!)

 

Bought a Luc v4 and Efest 3400mah to go with it. Also bought a Innokin SVD. (Innokin must be loving me at the moment)

But actually when they arrive in the next day or 2 and I've had a chance to eyeball them I might sell one. Even though they give dimensions its a little hard for me to imagine the size and weight so I'll check which I like better.

Then I must kurb my spending spree. 5 mods (if I include the USB passthrough) in 10 or so days is too much.

Having said that I got a nice compliment from my friends at the bar last night saying I smell a lot nicer which was actually my motivator for changing to vaping.
