13 stitches and 2,000 THB later......

    I'd just finished work for the day and was walking down the stairs at work, hands full of books and paperwork, and on the last few steps I slipped and fell forward...
    At the bottom of the stairs is a double glass slanted window..

    As I fell I put my arms forward and one of which went right into and through the window breaking 4 pains of the slanted glass and cutting my arm to bits deeply...

    Off to the clinic and 13 stitches later I was 2,000 THB less off too,,,
    That's like 200 ML of GLV Orange Blossom right there gone....

    I also some how managed to hurt my left ribcage....it's killing me....
    Not happy one bit..

    Wow, Painful in more ways that one. Bet your happy it was just 13 stitches and your arm, could have been a lot worse. Fast recovery!

    Sorry to here that V, I know you wont be feeling lucky but that sounds like it could easily have been fatal, Hope you have some painkillers and can sit and relax.

    Got some crap painkillers, it's my ribcage which is hurting the most, i actually can't remember what I hit that on..
    Thanks for your posts guys...
    And yes It could have been so much worse, the glass over here isn't up the the safety as back home, it's deadly...
    We have 2 stairwells and the other side facing it is just a wall...if only I'd have taken that way...

    Could of been a lot worse. Could of been holding a mod.

    Which part of your arm was it? Upper forearm or lower?
    I know the windows you mean, the glass is very brittle.

    Exactly, could have been my Yi Hi Mini...

    It was the right side on my left wrist and below the elbow, 2 places...
    Very lucky on the wrist side that I did cut through anything major...
    It was very deep though....
    Yep nightmare glass...
    Unfortunately it was....:wink:

    Yes, bad as it sounds you didn’t get it in the upper regions, that could easily been very bad. But no fun for sure. Good recovery to you.
