Would be quite a big tube sorry but could not resist.... was talking about a 18650 version clone.The A-mod clone with the extended tube looks not to my liking and i think with the extended tube i would not sit on a flat surface whitout falling.

Anyone know what the chip housing that the tube attaches to is made of? SS as well? Just looks a different material in the pics to me.

Well I surprised myself and, despite the limitations of the battery size, I bought one of these for an on the move device. Nice piece of kit. Finish is good and clean. one or 2 niggly little things though.

1. Threads are a touch crunchy, but that is to be expected with a lot of clones.
2. 510 connection positive post is difficult to adjust, at least on mine. I have managed to sort that out though and got everything there working fine. BNig did offer to re[lace the device when I told him about it but It was easily sorted out doing that.
3. Main problem for me is this. Although I get about the vape time I was expecting for an 18500 device on high power - 2 1/2 hours or so at 1.1ohm@30W - the charge indicator on the battery still shows 2/3 - 1/2 charge remaining when the battery error kicks in and cuts out the device. This was a touch surprising as it is easy to ahve the voltage booster continue to draw from the battery and fire at, or close, to the required settings. So I have been checking the charge left in the batteries and they are all cutting out at 3.7V, the nominal charge for the batteries. I find it hard to understand why the makers of the chip would set the battery cut out so high. I know the Cloupor Hana clone I have takes them down to 3.3, lower than I like so I take them off early.

So apart from the expected problems with a clone, 1 and 2, it goes through batteries very fast, as I expected, but it could have been helped a little by the makers of the chip.

Over all a thumbs up to a real nice looking device. One I have always wanted to have but couldn't afford an original. lol

Actually I have to take back the ok on the battery. It is now just started to give a battery error on a full purple efest straight off the charger. Sorry BBP.
