1. Welcome to Thailand Vapers, an English language forum for members in Thailand and the rest of Asia to talk about vaping.
Commonly referred to as e-cigarettes, vaping is really about the use of personal vaporizers (mods) and atomizers (tanks, clearos, RBAs, RDAs, RTAs) filled with e-liquid.
Are you looking to get started or an old hand at vaping? Everyone is welcome here so sign up today and talk vaping with us!

What's your budget and do you have any particular locations in mind? One thing there's no shortage of in Bangkok is hotels in all price categories!

Only ever stayed at the Shangri-La near the river...gonna be more than A$100 to stay there I think. Suggest that you try Trip Advisor for recommendations.

I suggest you try a forum that based on travel and tourism, instead of a vaping forum.
After all, what do we know about hotel prices? We live here and don't live in hotels.

Agoda offers good deal, I would also suggest to have a look. Sometimes locals like us can know a good hotel as well, we all have friends visiting and it could save some time scrolling on internet.

Here are the riverside hotels HERE

In the US$100 range, on the river side, you would need to avoid the main hotel chains like Peninsula or Mandarin Oriental. But I would suggest the Millenium Hilton, it's on the "other" side of the river and the hotel isn't as fancy as the others, therefore probably offering cheaper rates for the low floor room.

Otherwise, in the streets next to the river, you can find many cheaper hotel, without the view of course but allowing you to walk to bigger hotel's restaurant to enjoy a nice drink/diner.

    Are you traveling alone?

I used to stay at the First Hotel on Petchaburi Road. Rooms are plenty good enough but it's been a while since I stayed there. It was 1500B a night and a 500B surcharge for 'ladies of the night' ;)

I never understood why they would charge you for buying a local souvenir.
